    kazire, did u go through that number I said:
    0161 3113111 ??

    The Travelzoo deal, I tried that, and then compared to UK sites:
    19th May - 3 Nights (Mon - Thurs)
    Travel zoo deal with Resort fee = $268 (£160)
    Lowcostusa.co.uk = £158 with resort fee
    Quickrooms.com = £135 with resort fee

    Guess with the 3rd party site, its non-refundable, not that you would want to cancel!! :D Not sure if it includes the passes either...
  • Cheers for the advice guys!

    I booked earlier today - confirmation is taking a while to come through though! :undecided:
  • Hi
    We will be in Las Vegas 7-11 Aug inclusive then going towards Yosemite then Monterrey and San Francisco and just can't decide where to stay and who to book trips with. We are a family of 2 adults, 1 13y old and a 7yr old. We want to be on the South part of the Strip or nearby and want to fly to the Grand Canyon. Hotels will be a base so don't need bells and whistles. I've been trying to decide who to book through (priceline, Lastminute etc) and just can't work out what will be the best deal and where to stay. Any suggestions or instructions like book this here through this site and get on with it!! will be very welcome. Thanks very much.

    is there a reason you want south strip specifically?

    with two children it could be that Excalibur would suit as you aren't looking for something posh and just a base from which to explore. Or it may be that a non-casino hotel might be your preference if you will have a car.
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    With a car and kids the Orleans would be a good and well priced option. Much more child and teenager friendly and not so vast so far easier not to lose the kids ;) Pool is really nice too and lots of eating choices at non Strip prices.

    I wouldn't want a thirteen year old even popping down to the gift shop or to get a soda in the vast Strip hotels but I was comfortable with my thirteen year old doing so in the Orleans.

    Ive just booked 9 nights holiday to Las Vegas in June flying with BA from Dublin (live in Scotland)

    Booked 5 nights at Aria hotel & flights with expedia (used topcashback site for 3.5% cashback)

    Booked 4 nights at Caesars palce with expedia (used discount code VCJAN10 for 10% off price of hotel)

    The above discount code expires on the 26th January if anybody is booking soon.

    Hope this helps someone!
