    Hope you were on a Euro rather than a US carrier in that case for the EC compensation.

    Delta flight on a KLM ticket so i will be trying but not sure under what regulation.

    the return flight schedule was changed after we checked in, it confused the agents at LAS and Atlanta, i guess thats why we didnt get our bags

    doesn't matter as the flight was to or from an EU country.

    Update and credit to KLM within 5 days of me posting on their facebook page, they have offered me 300 euros cash or 500 euros voucher

    I may have posted the wrong info originally where I said it was Delta flight, it was Delta from LAS but KLM from Atlanta which is the one that was late

    Okay so need some tips about booking flights.

    I'm going Sunday 2nd November - Sunday 16th but if a good deal meant I did Saturday-Sunday i'd happily do it.

    I've found the following:

    BA - Manchester --> Vegas Direct 09:45am-17:35pm
    Vegas --> Chicago --> Manchester 06:55am-07:45am

    £513

    or

    BA - Manchester --> Vegas Direct 09:45am-17:35pm
    Vegas --> Gatwick --> Manchester 15:40pm-14:10pm

    £543

    Are these as good as I will find with 1 leg direct with BA and is the later departure time on the return leg worth the extra £30?

    The more I look at it, that second journey is back to Gatwick which is practically direct anyway. Just a shame the layover in Gatwick is 3 and a half hours and the flight to Manchester is 25mins!

    Sorry but are you sure it's a direct flight out? I didn't think BA flew to Vegas direct from Manchester and I can't find the flight details on their site?

    Ah, it says the following:

    09:45MAN –17:35LAS
    Direct
    15h 50
    British Airways
    Operated by American Airlines

    Does that mean it's BA or AA plane/service I'll be getting?

    I Dont know if this has been posted before (Sorry if it has) But you can get a Free "Main" at Hash-House a-go-go .
    Just go to their Facebook page at the top click on "More" and scroll down to "Join E-Club".

    It will ask you for your name email address etc and then a drop down box for your location (i took the plaza). and they will send you a email with a coupon for a free entree.

    Mine Expires on the 3rd of September 2015....So will be using it in 2 weeks when i'm there:beer:

    thanks - I have not seen this before...have joined the e-club and eagerly await the voucher...not sure we will use it but cannot hurt to have it and will get hubby and in-laws to sign up too if it will be valid that long. :)

    There has to be a connection with a time of 15h 50m. Vegas is 10h 30m
    That will be an AA flight booked through BA probably to Chicago from MAN then onto LAS
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Arrived in vegas yesterday. Some housekeeping issues when we checked it. All else good. Weather has cleared up. Spoke to nvh and mrs nvh this afternoon at the pool.
    Why doesn't that surprise me.

    I hope there's a treadmill in here as I don't want to go outside jogging and I'm doing a 10k early October so need to keep up the jogging while here.
    4th or 6th floor, cant remember which.
    Or you could just get up early and run the strip, we do it about 8am and it's bearable as long as you stay on the side with Flamingo, Quad, etc, you are in shade most of the way and it's only about 80 degrees:T
