Hope you were on a Euro rather than a US carrier in that case for the EC compensation.

Delta flight on a KLM ticket so i will be trying but not sure under what regulation.

the return flight schedule was changed after we checked in, it confused the agents at LAS and Atlanta, i guess thats why we didnt get our bags

doesn't matter as the flight was to or from an EU country.

    Crap trip home.

Schedule changed after check in so arrived at Norwich nearly 4 hours later than planned with NO BAGS

so sorry to hear that...must have been a real downer for you both.

you know what I think will help to get over it? planning the next Vegas trip as you had such a bad experience getting home that you deserve another trip. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Sorry you had a bad trip home. Last year Virgin lost our bags on the leg from Heathrow to Manchester.

Another trip planned will make it all feel better.

Not true I'm afraid. That is right for ex-EU but my understanding is that into EU, it only applies to EU airlines :)

Then we get to Vegas on Tuesday the iffy weather seems to be over...but I guess we have to wait and see. We got quite strange wet weather last year (and year before). Fingers crossed it's not too bad for your last few days!
I didn't want to be so bold to declare the bad weather had anything to do with your impending arrival... But now you mention it ;):D

We had a 12 hour delay on a AA flight which was BA ticketed and could not claim under the EU rules. We did however manage to get a gesture of goodwill from AA of $400

    Youre right..........

An EU flight is where the flight departed from an EU airport, regardless of the airline OR where an EU airline landed at an EU airport.

Some dirt cheap direct returns in November if you put a third leg in from London to Oslo, London to Vegas for £366 if anyone is interested. Not sure if it's an error fare or what.

EDIT: not just November it seems, tried a dummy booking for January. I'm getting on this!!!

    March too...

Thats confusing, my understanding is that i am able to claim.

the flight that actually caused us to be more than 3 hours late was with KLM from amsterdam even though the Atlanta flight (KLM) was the one that caused us to miss the Amsterdam flight
