I never expect to be able to check in....I'm usually still on sparrow fart time so whilst everyone is coming to I'm off to the new hotel with some/all of the bags. Check in-(heavy on the British accent and let them *think* I'm just off a long flight ;) ) and it's extra ordinary how often not only is the room ready but sometimes a free upgrade. If it isn't ready (and the $20 trick will often open a nice room up) I do the paperwork , dump the bags with the bell and we're gone for the day.

I once checked into the IP at 6am with no expectation of a ready room (we were flying out at midnight so it was just a room to dump bags in and have a shower cost a whole $15 lol) and got a room straight away. The Orleans is also good for early rooms.

I came across chip and pin in a Walmart but can't remember if it was Vegas, CA or AZ.

Where in Vegas are you getting married Romangatang ?
We've chosen our where just not got around to booking it yet. I'm thinking April or May next year -maybe.

We are getting married in suite at the Cosmo (it's just the two of us so didn't fancy all the empty seats in a chapel), we have the LuvBug coming to do it and have hired Todd from Bently & Wilson to do a strip photo tour too afterwards.

Where are you having your wedding?

Has anyone got any experience of checking in at the Cosmo? Are they likely to let us in earlier than stated if we tip/mention we are getting married in a few hours?

Booked Muscle car challenge for me & Daughter, just got tickets to Zumanity via MyVegas for all 3 of us (had to get 2 double tickets)
Planning is almost as much fun as arriving LOL
All going to get single tickets to Jabawoccies as no double tickets available and then not sure about 3rd choice.
we will be doing Gospel Brunch au HoB again as we really enjoyed it before.
Just 10 weeks to go. and we were 100% not going back this year.

    How old's your daughter?!

I saw Zumanity last month and I would *seriously* cringe if I saw it with my son or daughter. And likewise I think my son or daughter would be seriously embarrassed watching it with a parent!

Cosmo is the place we have had the least luck checking in early but sometimes we are able to. There is a charge for early check-in normally but they have waived it for us (but we have always been staying there comped after the first time and not sure if that makes a difference).

I would have to think if you are getting married in one of their suites there is a reasonable chance you could get in early if a room is available and a tip can never hurt.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

it's much less effort than MyVegas and you can use the points you earn just like any other Total Rewards credits instead of redeeming for a specific reward. There is a limit to what you can earn, moreso than MyVegas. But I normally do my Social Rewards on my phone while waiting for the bus home and that's it.

    Evening

I have recently come back from 4 nights at the venetian and for the last 2 days, the hotel was overtaken by ravers who were there for the EDC rave. They were an absolute nightmare. Extremely loud and extremely drunk all the time!! They made the pool area unbearable. They spent the entire time chanting "EDC" in football hooligan style! Has anyone else encountered them?
