I found a website awhile back that purported to list surcharge free ATMs...I never checked to see if the info was reliable.

This isn't the same one I found but similar.

    http://www.allianceone.coop/

This may be the one that doodle_bug mentioned

    http://www.allpointnetwork.com/atm-locators.aspx

The monorail station locations are interesting...pretty sure the cashpoints are before the ticket barriers.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Fee free ATM's
Years ago I used to use my Nationwide card in in Walmart and at an ATM near Harrah's for the best deal, not now though. Been 3 years since I visited Vegas although I have been to WI twice in that time. Just been working out where to go in Vegas, seems "All Point" ATM's are fee free and if you go on their website it shows where they are, mostly 7-11's and CVS and some at the monorail stations. I do have a Halifax c/c so will give them a go hopefully will get $500 a day out of them.
Travel on the 3rd July from Manchester direct, 3 days at Southpoint and then wherever our hats take us.

I'm also staying at Southpoint in August, have you stayed there before?

calling those with a sweet tooth...made these last night (the muffin variation) and will be buying plenty more when we're next there. You have to get past the brand name if you've not seen it before first but it's worth it, we think.

I just got this email, it may be of help to someone, for me, Groupon never works as my bank blocks the transaction... Even when they have completed the usual security procedures :(
You can save an extra 15% off any one Local deal on Groupon.com when you enter the promotion code LOCAL15 at checkout! The code is valid for1-day only today (Monday, June 30, 2014). This is going to be a very popular offer so don't miss out! I tested the code and can verify that it works.

Hurry, only a limited amount of people can use the code so take advantage of the offer while you can!
This is a hot deal because Groupon rarely offers promo codes and most of their local deals is already discounted 50-95% off. You'll find lots of amazing deals with the extra 15% off.

Nationwide changed their terms a few years ago now.

Have you got a Halifax CC that is a better option

No, not got a Halifax Card, but hubby does. I need to look into better cards for travelling it would seem. I wonder if there's somewhere I can get lots of info on this. I'll have a search around on google.

I probably have time to get a new card. I hate change though lol :rotfl:

Great help - thanks a lot... didn't get the email but worked for me (and is mentioned on the website too) :)

It's one use only, and on orders up to $50 :)

    Hi guys,

Planning a third trip to LV - the first with my new GF in 2015.

I'm hearing there's a cheap way of flying there via LAX through Norwegian Air, is that true? I assume internal flights from LAX to LV are dirt cheap?

    Thanks for advice in advance!

thats exactly what i am doing although going LHR - LAX with Air New Zealand and done it with BA as well

flying to LAX having some time there then getting a flight from BURBANK to VEGAS with SOUTHWEST AIRLINES good thing about them is that you get 2 bags free luggage and prices were good , paid $48 and they fly like every hour

another alternative is VIRGIN AMERICA although a bit more expensive

there are cheaper flights with a company called Spirit but after reading reviews NO WAY would i fly with them

all depends if your planning to stay in LA as you can fly from LAX to VEGAS with southwest as well

your right with Norwegian as well am considering using them on my next trip

check the southwest website for more details on flight times

Hi there, thanks for your reply.

I didn't realise Air New Zealand offered good rates to LAX from the UK too, I'll check them out.

Norwegian is coming out at around £440 return Gatwick - LAX for next year at present.

We would probably head straight to Vegas from LAX on the same day so would want a connecting flight that day.
