We're off next Thursday - can't wait, just making myself some notes, could someone remind me where the cheapest cash machine is just in case we run out of reddies!

    Edit
Its Casino Royale, typical, I've searching the thread for a good 15 mins and as soon as I gave up and asked I've found it.

Yes those are the two cheapest. Casino Royale at $1 and the Bank of America one at the top of M&M World at $2.

For research purposes I have randomly checked others at CVS, Walgreens, etc and they have been $3 and upwards. Last time I checked the ones inside the casinos had gone up to $5.99.

For those who have the Halifax Clarity card you can withdraw the equivalent of £500 a day so the fee really is minimal. I managed to get $1.699 on one day a month ago.
  • Hi there I am looking for some help. My husband and I are looking to book for August/Septemeber next year. Most places do not do that far in advance at the moment and we don't really want to wait to book. I have looked at thomas cook and travel republic these seem to be the only 2 I can find that let you go so far in advance. Does anyone know any others? Any help is greatly appreciated. It is for our 5th wedding anniversary, we got married out there!

Well that's us booked for feb 15th for week after my 40th, glas-Ams-lax-lv, staying at planet Hollywood for 5 nights

    Sooooo excited:j:j:j:j

Couple of questions please, do you have to get your bags and recheck in after every flight or is it straight to destination?

Also clothing in feb, is it still shorts and tea shirt weather ( bearing in mind we from Scotland lol)
    Many thanks x

Scheduled flights are only released approx 330 days ahead which is why you won't see any others. Thomas Cook may release theirs earlier.

Why do you not want to wait to book? The flights are often at their most expensive when they are newly released and then come down in price.

Your bags will be checked through to LAX where you will have to pick them up to clear Customs after you have cleared Border Control. Then you put them back on the recheck belt for the next flight.

It is doubtful if it will be shorts and T-shirt weather in February unless you find a sheltered spot on a sunny day.

    67 days to go!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I finally snagged the $100 MC bar credit on MyVegas yesterday, to go alongside the Luxor steak restaurant $75. :)

I have two rewards left and will probably use at least one of them for a couple of dinner buffet tickets. What's the general consensus on Mandalay Bay vs. Bellagio vs Aria dinner buffets?

    Bellagio buffet was my favourite.
Didn't enjoy Aria one.....though others on here do like it.
Never tried Mandalay Bay yet....might do it on Novembers trip....through Myvegas of course.

Should say,I did like the mimosas at Aria.It was $12ish for bottomless drinks added to buffet.....although receipt said you could only get it for 2 hours,so had to drink quick.:D
I liked the fact the glasses were nice and big, compared to the thin champagne type glass normally provided.
You can add drinks to Bellagio buffet for about the same price, but we never bothered on last trip.

Good to know, thanks! We're staying at the Cosmo so Aria and Bellagio would be easy if we have a night when we can't be bothered straying far from the hotel to eat.

(I just noticed your location; I used to work in Keswick. :) )
