Doesnt seem to be much discount on MJ tickets, still to expensive for me
Good prices for Lova and KA though

Would someone mind helping me with a MyVegas/Mlife query I have please? My Facebook account is in the name of Becky but my mlife account and ID is in my full name Rebecca.
When you book rewards on MyVegas does it produce a confirmation using the Facebook account name and will this cause an issue when I try and redeem them Not sure if it matters but I will be looking to redeem them for Buffet rewards mainly.
I think Facebook limits the number of name changes you can make and I am down to the last one permitted so if I change Facebook to Rebecca (which will amuse my friends!) then I might not be able to change it back again.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

On another note.... I will be travelling to Vegas for 9 nights on 26th August. I have 2 questions....
1. We will be there over Labor Day. Are there usually any special events on over the weekend eg parades or festivals? I am expecting it to be really busy (hotels are already booked thankfully) - has anyone been over this weekend before?
2. Currently booked in for 4 nights at Planet Hollywood. We have a Hollywood Hip 2 Queens room but am thinking about changing to Mirage (Standard Room). We really liked the feel of Mirage when we visited previously (6 years ago now and we stayed at Bills) but don't know how the rooms compare. Our first 5 nights are booked at Monte Carlo. I know PH is just across the road but the rates were so cheap and we wanted to get something booked to fall back on.
If anyone has any insight into either of these hotels I would be grateful.
Thank you again

Becky, I asked the same question about MyVegas. The FB account I use to play isn't in my "real" name. Apparently there is no problem, as long as your MLife account is in the correct name. One of the regulars on here plays MyVegas under their cat's name, and there are loads of people with "Vegas" as their surname.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

You're fine Becky - Just remember to put your full name in when you're collecting the reward and you won't have a problem redeeming it.Mortgage Free: 28/10/2010Time / Interest Saved: 18.5 years / £61,866.500

We only stayed in a PH HH room one night before moving to a Resort room (after complaining about the noise from the goods lift running behind the bed)...and we booked a standard Mirage room last trip comped but didn't sleep there in the end, we did stop by and check it out...the Mirage room was, in our opinion, a nicer room overall...and if you're at MC for the first 5 nights maybe a move further north would be nice as you say.
We really disliked the room we had at PH...we maybe were unlucky...but it was very small compared to some others and dark and no storage...if we had to choose PH or Mirage we would choose Mirage without question...though we probably prefer the casino at PH.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Thanks Ferf - we liked PH's casino too which is why we plumped for a room there when we saw the good rate ($218 for 4 nights from 31/8 exc resort fee) but I think Mirage may win out. Mirage is currently coming in approx £80-£100 more overall for the same nights but hopefully this may come down nearer the time.MFW 2022 #88: £6620/£6000
