Doesn't really advise whether to book or not, I would check it out, maybe ring/email them and see.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

We're off again in October, not sure for how long yet but very much looking forward to it. Going to gather my list of 'yet to do's' and also take my restaurant.com vouchers for a trip again, I may use them yet!!!
Not decided where we're staying yet either.
I'll check room offers and see what's available via CET.:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

we're also back in October - it seems such a long way off! Particularly as we're joining it up with the family visit rather than going to see them this summer.
I also have a batch of r.com vouchers I take every trip...other than Stripburger they always come back with me anymore but one day. We used to use a lot more of them - I suppose there used to be a lot more places we like to use them.
It's our longest trip at 10 nights...first 6 at Caesars, last 4 TBC...after last trip we decided one move is enough for us with maybe an overnight stay we don't need to check out for somewhere else.
One of these days we will make it downtown to stay one night.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
so do you need to book these before you go or can you simply log in while in the hotel and book as you intend to use.
help much appreciated0 -

You need to 'book' before you go as when you log in locally you won't see the same rewards as you do here0 -
Currently sat in the Luxor lobby drinking coffee while trying to plan the day!!!0

depending on which ones you are after you may need to stalk them for awhile on the run up to the trip as some will go within seconds when they are released each day.
MissNobody - does that mean that if you are logged on from Vegas it sees you as a 'local' so you cannot redeem any of those that are restricted to non-locals?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I got back from Vegas last Monday so feeling a bit more normal again now. We had a mixed bag of weather, some wind and a bit cool for me some evenings.
Travelled with Thomas Cook, I thought the flight was fine given the price saving over Virgin, the only let down was the entertainment as not on demand but I think I could put up with that again to save some cash!
Stayed at Vdara in a city corner suite and whilst it was lovely I don't know if I would stay there again. The room was big but with 3 girls sharing we found little space for all of our 'stuff'. 1 small-ish wardrobe in the bathroom, the safe was also in there - it was one of those slimline laptop safes but mounted vertically so 3 lots of purses, passports, phones etc just sat at the bottom - there was only 1 sink in the huge bathroom too. It was great having the kitchen especially the fridge/ freezer and I know some on here would love the washer/ dryer!!
The main reason I would perhaps choose elsewhere was the pool area, we knew it wasn't big but the death ray is still causing issues. Whilst we were there if you were at the far side of the pool (the near side filled up early as this is the best place to be as no 'rules' apply) then the parasols had to stay up until approx 12.30 until the sun moved round, the parasols are huge and cover at least 4 sunbeds so you struggle to get in the sun, that's if you can stand the heat when the death ray is on!! Strange thing was that on Saturday which appeared to be one of the hottest days, this 'rule' was not enforced. On Monday 5th they closed the pool for health and safety reasons as it was so windy, we were told we could go to Aria pool so we did and it was completely calm there as it's more sheltered. It's worth knowing that if Vdara pool is full they will let you use Aria.
I suffered from dizziness on my last trip, this time we requested a low floor room, got floor 6 overlooking the pool, which is almost as low as you can go, didn't suffer as much whilst I was there and been much less dizzy when I've got back to the UK so I think it helped.
I used 3 MyVegas rewards, Aria lunch buffet as I love the puddings, Mirage dinner buffet - great for the free wine (and beer) and $100 drinks for Fuel the Duel at Monte Carlo, we enjoyed this reward, good selection of drinks and pretty good entertainment too.
Rest of the time was shopping, pool time and we saw Matt Goss, plenty of slots and cocktails too, no big wins but a few smaller ones meant we didn't do too badly.
Don't know when i'll be back to Vegas, everyone I could go back with has been and wants to visit other places before returning, madness!!!0 -

Yes I believe that is correct, you are local to where you are logged in from
And yes took me a few days to get the fuel the duel at Monte Carlo reward but worth it!0
