A couple of restaurant suggestions for foodies. Estiatorio Milos, the Greek restaurant at the Cosmopolitan, do a 3 course lunch 12-2 for $22.14. There are several choices of starter and main course and 2 for dessert. Details on their website. We went there on Saturday and it was very good.
Also, Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons do a 3 course Cut of the Week dinner with bottomless wine pairing for $48. We went last week and it was excellent so we are going back again this week.0 -

Or will I have to pay full whack for them?I'm sure I've seen 2 for 1 coupons -Have you tried the coupon sites ?bogof in the las vegas advisor, but you would hav to decide if its worth it or not to purchase, ellis
island bbq is in thereThere's a 2-for-1 tower admission or rides package in the Las Vegas Advisor Member Reward book but that's $37 membership fee (but may be worth considering). It seems like I have seen 2-for-1 tower admission coupons before but not sure about rides...but I haven't looked at them for ages .
This question has already been answered pretty comprehensively, but I thought my experience there in 2012 may help someone save money. We were surprised that we would have to pay to get to the observation deck and then pay again for the rides. We didnt like the idea of a double-payment.
So We made a lunch reservation instead at the Top of the World restaurant. When we arrived at the Stratosphere, we told them we had lunch reservations, which they checked and confirmed. We were then directed to the regular elevator, instead of the one for the rides (where they were charging).
When we got to the top, we told the restaurant host that although we had booked lunch, we had since changed our minds, and just wanted to have a couple of happy hour drinks instead. They were happy to let us do that, so we had a couple of leisurely drinks first, then stepped out onto the roof to the rides.
Hope this helps someone save $20 or so!0 -
Wammer, we were at Estiatorio Milos on Saturday too.
Another vote for this. Good meal.0 -

If you're under level 50 or so, that's way too large a bet. I rarely went over 300 and usually stuck around 100-150 until I was at 50. Only consistently playing above 1000 now that I'm at 80.thegamboller wrote: »Are network points worth anything? They don't as of yet seem to be added to my pending nor available points.
The pending and available points are only for the casino that you're currently viewing. The network points are the available points for the others. You can redeem once your network + available points add up to the amount you wish to claim, as you can transfer points between them on the redemption page.0 -

I am level 110 but keep running out of chips and generally only play at 1500 a spin, then i am stuck collecting the strip and daily spin to try and build a stack again to start playing again.0 -

I generally only play on double LP days, or the earlier days of the 12 day challenge, when it's easier to complete.
I'm lvl 107 atm, and have 950k chips. I usually get to about 1.2m chips before the next event I want to play rolls around, during which time I'll probably lose 500k-600k chips earning more LP than I would playing daily.Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0 -

This is a good strategy! Save those chips for either double LP (on level up) days or double XP. The rest of the time, just collect chips from your hotels and do the daily spins.
However I'm quite disappointed at how the rewards have got worse n worse over time as well as more pricey. I prefer the Social Rewards scheme as they just give you $$$ to spend on whatever you want, rather than making you commit to a certain activity or bar/restaurant.
I guess it's all free though so can't complain :beer:Currently saving and planning for the holiday of a lifetime to Vegas in summer 2014!

I am going next month with my sister and 7 of her friends to celebrate my sister's 21st birthday. I would like to pay for her to do something nice out there as a present. I already bought a Scoot City deal from Groupon so we are going to do that. The only other thing I could think of is the Skyjump at the Stratosphere. Does anyone else have any other suggestions of a cool and memorable thing I could pay for her to do? Costing up to say £100?0
