Mandalay Bay = Nice rooms, big pool, gym, and at the start of the strip so you get to do some nice walks :):)
Cost, erm, that's for you to decide! :D:D

Thanks for that - keep the suggestions coming folks! Cost is not a massive issue, it's more value for money I'm looking for.

I am counting down the days until we leave for the airport (well i have since i booked it) now its 35 days 12hours lol! So excited, never been to vegas actually never flown long haul either - we are flying with virgin and staying at the vdara.

We are a young couple traveling we are wanting to to see the grand canyon by helicopter and do the landing also go to a shooting range does anyone have any advice or tips on the travel or hotel or booking any of these experiences.
Is there a must do list for vegas we are there for 9 nights
Also my partner says we must go to an outlet while we are out there as some clothes i.e. levis are cheaper out there than here in england is this true - also we won't be renting a car out there so is there a bus to the outlet shops and is it far away from the main strip

Google Premium Outlet malls and look at the one at the South end of the Strip. They list the shops and the individual shops show their deals. My last trip in November the offer was buy 3 or more pairs of Levis for $40 each so 3 pairs for $120 worked out about £75 same price as I saw for an individual pair here. There's 2 of you so 2 pairs each for £100 a bargain. There is a section on the Premium website with all sorts of vouchers and discounts to use. Also details and directions for busses etc. Also have a look at Town Centre shops (you pass it on the way) a load of shops and my favourite Vegas shop Frys ( electronics and boys toys) Bought the Macbook air, ext drive and magic mouse for £300+ cheaper than here. There is an Apple shop in Town Centre as well.

Most retail places can be checked online before visiting. That's what my daughters do so I get given their present list and where to buy it before I go!

I know some on here use the Metro Bank Card.

Just in case you haven't seen this, they are to start charging for foreign withdrawals

    Hi everyone

We're off to LV in May for 10 nights as OH is on a conference. We are staying at Caesars Palace. As I've never been I have no clue what to expect. Can you please give some suggestions of stuff I will be able to do to amuse myself during the day whilst OH is doing his conference stuff. Would really appreciate any suggestions

    Thanks
