  • I've not managed much sewing but my stocking is slowly taking shape. It suddenly looks like I've made lots of progress but then grinds to a halt with bits taking far far longer than I expect. I think I should estimate the time then add a zero or 2!

    Wow I'm loving all your makes. They are all stunning and really inspiring.

    It must be time for another update from me (although I haven't really got much more to report since my last update!) :-

    1.Project Life Scrapbook- completed up to week 29 - cannot be finished until end of year but working now to get up to date to wk 37
    2. Disney Holiday Scrapbook - took advantage of a massive discount on a photo site and got it printed out as a photo book - now just need to pretty up the pages by adding embellishments, memerobilia etc to complete it
    3. Good Memories 2014 jar - completed Jan 14 :)
    4. Button balloon family picture canvass
    5. Inspiration jar for days when my crafting mojo is lacking - completed July 14 :)
    6. Marvel Picture for daughter - completed July 14 :)
    7. Marvel Picture for Son - completed July 14 :)
    8. Pen Storage Holder for Craft Room (to hold my promarkers & spectrum noirs) - completed July 14
    9. Universal and SeaWorld Holiday Scrapbook

    5. Lemon and white crochet baby blanket - done - Aug

    7. Ladies shawl - (done 6 of them)
    since knitted 3 more in lilac, 2 in white and 1 in black

    8. Ruffle scarf (1 for DD, 3 for xmas prezzies)

  • Just thought I show you all what I received in my exchange - never used over dyed threads before - they are not colourfast so don't know what to use them in.

    Well its been a while but I have another one of my projects completed finally!! I made 19 chicks for my best friends hen do using the yellow duck project pattern I posted. My hand resembled a claw by the end but am very proud of my results.....

    My chick will have its tag changed and will be left in a public place ready for somoene to find, see you did that Mrs Moneypenny! Fab work!!

    We are still on with the pom poms and i have started making my mouse but struggling with double pointed needles it takes longer than you think!!

  • Looking at all the pictures and there are some fab makes happening!! Chipsaunt where did you get the pattern for your mouse and your donkey? They are fab lovely little gifts, and Rozsheffield that baby blanket is fabulous where did you get the pattern for that? I would love to have a go at making those at some point!

    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Quick pop on to say I have managed another scarf today, that is the last of my super thick wool. Next week's 30mins crafting I hope to do something sewing wise, need to review my list I did at the beginning of the year.
