Evening, just going to catch up so may not make a lot of sense (I know I never do!) But thought forewarned is forearmed!

    Evening all.

Thanks for the new thread zippy. Congrats to 3010. :T And hoping all those feeling unwell or hindered by the weather will be ok asap.

Took some gifts over to my Mum & brother today. My DB had been given some vouchers as a Christmas gift from his work and told Mum to "give them to the voucher queen" :) £100 in M&S vouchers :T:eek::j Slightly overwhelmed!

FloFlo - I assume you have a new build. My ds had problems with a leak over the christmas period and builders would not come out so he got an independent local maintenance man and sent them the bill. They paid up no problem plus some compensation. DD also had problem with leak under bath with new build over christmas. Claimed for new carpet in bedroom with no problem. HTH

Thanks it is a newish build, just over 18 months, it isn't too serious at the moment so I am not too worried about waiting a few days. The builders are still onsite so will have to sort it out or I will plague them ;)

Is that me you are wondering about bubbs. :o

Ventured out to solicitor this morning and then straight to butchers to pick up turkey and then home again. Not been out since 11am. We have a flooded porch not sure where all the water is coming in. Mr TS has tried to clear the drain holes on the front door but we have to keep mopping. Some of it is coming out of the pointing of the main house so must be getting in somewhere, the wind is driving.

The rain is not showing any signs of stopping yet. So glad DD2 came home yesterday and DD1 has not gone into labour yet. :)

    Yes was you:D:D
Saw on the news down there and OMG!:eek:
Stay safe and hope DD1 holds out till the weather has passed:rotfl:
Hope the water comes no further , please take care x

Well I just checked my M&S order and its in Bolton North SO :(

This morning and afternoon it was out for delivery and still says delivered for today

Why Bolton when Oldham and Manchester are closer

Trust me not to get parcel :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe the delivery van broke down and was towed back :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
