So how are we all getting on with the festive cleaning?

I've only managed laundry today :rotfl:

I came home from work to a clean house (well a mans version of clean!) but it is great and really kind of OH x

He even put 3 christmas trees in the conservatory... forgot the lights but hey ho. I must remember the glass is half full ......

But I am being kind to him, as he is now drinking watching football

Thanks for new thread zippy and congrats for new job 3010.

This cold has taken grip and is moving to my chest. Babysitting plans changed and I am at dd house at at least I can sleep downstairs so do not disturb little one with coughing and sneezing.
Dd offered to send dgd to nursery tomorrow as already paid for ( we were expecting it to be closed hence babyditting in first place) but I said will manage as don't get a lot of time with dgd as live so far away. Plans out the window for tomorrow as wanted to take dgd shopping then to see ds1 and dgs but think we will be housebound. Doubt I will get out tomorrow night either.

So feeling pretty upset as everything has gone to pot. Really just want to be in own bed and sleep this off.
    I
But I am blessed by what I do have and will not rant again.

FC loved the story. Also love idea of your ds2 scanning everything in the house. Look on the bright side it has taken his mind off xmas:rotfl:

Just don't buy a medium turkey with it because it compares to one at Sainsbob's which is £1 more expensive!

Keep away from Tra££ord Centre ASDA -- heaving and no frozen turkeys left! CostCo is worse. But Regent's Road Sainsbob's is quiet and Salford Tesco was OK -- both had frozen turkeys.

What on earth do you buy in Sainsbob's which is cheaper than anywhere else? I have one more £20 spend to do, after Christmas. Got Atrixo, got Cointreau... Should have got my turkey there!

Is the prosecco still working? I am sure FC said that it was now comparing against another shop and with a little PP x

Thank you zippy for the new thread. May we all enjoy Christmas and the time off.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Usually is online too, updates around 3am but there have been some problems the last few years with it not working well online so anyones guess. I will probably wait for the 75% off sale mid Jan.
