The gammon I cooked in coke earlier was really delicious :)
It was only just over a kilo and I did it in a full tin of full fat coke on high for around 5 hours. You can do it for longer on low if you were out for the day though.
The only problem is, it is so tender it tends to fall apart when you try to slice it. So if you are wanting neat slices, it might be better doing it the conventional way, but for taste and tenderness, the slow cooking in coke is fantastic.
For anyone wanting slow cooker recipes, there is a brilliant facebook group with several thousand members which has fantastic tips and recipes. I've tried a few dishes and they have all been really good.
    It's called slow cooker saddos.
It would appear to have members from all over the world and I don't know who runs it, but i requested to join and was accepted in a couple of days.

Flaw in my plan - T didn't stock Giftcards for Curry's or PCWorld :(.

IPad mini reduced to £219 instore in Curry's - £10 off £100 voucher code on O2 Priority Moments app until tomorrow :) so £209 - anywhere cheaper please?

Is anyone aware of store rules where they will only accept 3 Giftcards against one transaction?
I had this excuse earlier so had to use cash which is annoying when I had plenty of cards from the Viking Nectar deal to use up .

    Many thanks
