I prefer unisex loos cos single sex there's always queues outside the ladies and not the gents, but yes takes a bit of getting used to in public areas (after all, home ones are always unisex). Hope the panic attacks diminish. I had increasing ones a while back, starting with public spaces like cinemas and restaurants then spreading to escalators, stairs and then just standing away from a wall. Mostly gone now fortunately for me, though always there's the worry they'll come back. I have been reading though how they're caused by the fear of fear.

Angela - sorry to hear about your dad. Im with you on the unisex loos. I hate going into the unisex ones and the seat up, (Pet hate) I wont touch it as I`m a bit odd like that and I try to hover. I wont touch the paper either someone once told me the inside of the toilet roll has more germs than the pan . The floor is always wet. The men rarely wash their hands OH told me and I wont touch the tap or the door to go out, Odd I know, But i carry wet wipes, tissue and a pack of plastic gloves from the pound shop< I also don't touch lift buttons. I know I`m weird but I had nova virus on a ship once, never again if i can avoid it. I dont go through public doors either until someone opens them first. Once stood outside a cinema once for 18 minutes waiting for someone to come out!!! Then I use my foot to keep it open > I'm not paranoid honestly it sounds worse than it is. Panic attacks are awful I feel for you. Well done on going though

Mum2one - give my love to granddad hoodie - what a horrible thing to happen, being on holiday doesn't help either when you have an emergency. Take care all of you

Dundeedoll, hope you get home without anymore mishaps, had to smile when you said you have less than 6 for the tea, I`d be walking around with my eyes on the floor, looking for coins. You should write a diary of all your travels, would make interesting reading I`m sure

Hi Rufus, sorry to hear about you dad

Well ladies they say it comes in threes, take care everyone

    Hi everyone

Just popped in to see how everyone's doing.

Sorry to hear about everyone's dad's

I been trying to make some more Christmas cards, but I don't know if it's the weather but I'm struggling with my hands. They not the best anyway , I wear splints at night on both hands and legs. But boy since the temperature dropped they're not functioning right.
I did blog my cards but need so many more 400-500 so starting early

I made some reindeer food containers so that's another thing off my Xmas list . The list is a bit long ..

    Hope everyone ok.

Sorry to hear about other dads - brains in jelly mode here, quick update still in int dive care but he's stable as can be but on a positive
    - able to drink for himself
    - been sat in the chair
    - shaved himself
    - had his 1st bag of food been done direct into the vein

We're going up 2ngt - usually go afternoon but got to nip and get food etc so going to take miss hoodie into rhyl for a wonder.

I can't stand unisex loos - last week too miss hoodie on the lake steam railway at LLanberis and it was the green portable loos they were both unisex - I had to go but hoovered used my own loo roll and on way back held out to we got to the cafe.

On about loos when we use to fly back from monastir (Tunisia) there's was always massive q's in the ladies so the staff use to escort groups of women to the gents loos but you had to walk past the urinals and Sod's law they were always in use.

Christmas - got a few bits up here including crackers,

Birthday - we have nanny hoodies 70th birthday next yr - so we're doing her a 70 box - with a budget of 35quid. Want to get her something special have my first set of items 4 mini candles for £1

We're coming home sat it's impossible and impractical to be able to stay here any longer so were going to be coming up every other day not to had. 150 mile round trip... We're hoping they can transfer him home

Love to everyone and thank you to everyone for your kindness and good wishes, I was laughing with mum yesterday that although never met any of you and that we could walk past you in the street your all amazing ladies xxxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi Springdreams, how are you this weekend?

    Hello Anglea :hello:

My weekend was quite chilled out, thank you for asking.

This coming one will be less so though, as my DS goes back to football training on Saturday morning and then will be going to the first premier league match of the season in the afternoon, whilst my sister and I baby sit my brother's 11 month old twin boys - they are very mobile and into everything now

    How was your weekend?

We've got the cars unloaded with the help of the neighbours.... tho the putting away taking longer.

been organised today and got the rest of the washing done, shopping done, just need to top up the milk and fruit, the plan is to do a bigger online shop for all dry stuff, then pop to Iceland for freezer stuff.

i've put a shelf up today - (half job) as it was in the kitchen we left the screws in the wall, first shelf I have ever put up, so proud.

Mums asked me to take over her bank account as dad does all the organising of that, - 1st step be online banking, can't live without it on mine! so be sort through her statement, work out what goes where (insurances etc) then set myself up a spreadsheet, but put a copy into a notebook so mum still feels its hers.

On the Christmas front, I got some bits while we were away, got my Uncle 2 war books from £1 shop - theyve a price of £8 each just checked my christmas list - excluding, mum, dad and Karen, all I need is-

    1 x bottle Christmas beer
    1 x brandy
    6 x bottle beer

Then I have a small food box to do, about £5 spend.

    Budget - £475
    Spent - £259.60
    proper price £852

Plus I have 4 sets of token presents if need them.

That is one big relief to have that all done xx
