So long as no more hurricanes are lurking, i shall be winging my way back to blighty. It's been a good trip both for business and pleasure.

Goodness mum2one poor you poor dad. Sounds very similar to what happened to my colleague's dad just as we were headed off to a,conference in poland in may. He is much recovered, but my poor friend was on the phone all the time. And now Angela's dad. I havent had any emails from home so hoping my dad is fine.
En route as i type. Flight from dominica was delayed as two too many people boarded the plane. Because they dont make any attempt to sit in the seat no. on the ticket and no-one owned up to being on the earlier flight the stewards had to go down the plane checking. It wad of course the last couple checked! The poor person next to me was getting very stressed as she only had a 50 mins connection time. And then we were delayed because 2 planes were landing and a dhl taking off. But i think the connecting flight waited so she got her weekend in st martinez before returning to london. I on the other hand am sitting in the antigua departure lounge with onoy $5.55 ecd and the tea is 6. Bother.
Hopefully see you soon in blighty

    Hi all

DundeeDoll it seems quite amazing you are writing to us from so far away, I wonder if you managed to find anything else to drink for the cash on you.

Hi Springdreams, how are you this weekend?

I can't remember if I mentioned last week that my fridge freezer packed up, then I had DS1 and g/f visiting last weekend and this week I had a failed trip to look at FF's because none of the shops were there - even though were listed online. So I planned to transfer some cash into my bank and ask exH to help me order it online instead on Sunday (when we normally meet to visit his mum in care home) however with Dad in hospital last thing on my mind is the FF.

So when DS2 comes down Thursday-Sunday we're going to have to eat different things to his normal visit until my mind is clear enough to order a FF.

I think I many have mentioned I have a travel phobia. Well on Tuesday this week I went to the city for the first time in ages with a friend, had several panic attacks (not on the bus but because of a strange staircase) we spent all day/evening out and it was really good. The idea was to look for a new FF yet none of the shops were there I'd found online so we did sightseeing instead. Next morning I couldn't breathe and throat like razor blades.

The same thing happened this morning, so maybe there is an allergy in city because I went to see Dad in hospital yesterday. The only difference is I went alone, no panic attacks at all even though I had to walk up 5 flights of stairs as I don't do lifts.

What I didn't like is that they have re-done the hospital so that there are no seperate men/female toilets and I felt on edge hanging about in the corridor with men and women waiting for a row of uni sex toilets so instead of going to the new hospital cafe for a something to eat I went to the bus station to use their loos and eat something on the bus.

Does that bother the rest of you ladies?
