Given 2 wind-up eggs by friendly shopkeeper - they'd fallen off a magazine. Will pop one in ds's cracker.

Hope everyone ok and making the most of the good weather.
Not to bad a weekend, we did our usual table top this morning, and then did a school fayre straight after, - came out with £44 so good going.
Shouldn't laugh, grandad hoodie was on cleaning duty - did the freezer, been wondering why the icecream has been rock hard... he'd gone and put the freezer on fast freeze....

Lol at grandad hoodie
Everything's quiet here, we,'re at dds house, thought we'd have a few days break hahaha
Oh fixing the leak in bathroom. Putting new taps on. Cladding the kitchen , striped the wallpaper off the lounge and front room.
I was in charge of finding new wallpaper and collecting the cladding.
Dd has been working 60 hours plus and travelling is a hour each way. She did have a day off I had her stripping walls.
Her boyfriend had weekend off so he's sorting , garden , it all overgrown.
We seem to find we have to encourage them to do things . Lol
And I make a great foreman.
Well my eBay sales have been going great, better than I thought they would, I have had 2 parcels lost in the post. Funny one went from a post office I never usually use. And the other disappeared completely. I have proof of posting so that's good. I posted a parcel to Australia the other month and refunded as it hadn't got there. 6 month s later the lady said it had arrived and paid. Thought it was very honest of her.
I have also had 5 non payers this month and some unlikely excuses and some ignorant people not replying at all. So frustrating
Hope you are all keeping well and are enjoying . The sunshine
Love to you all
MoneypennyI did pop to Sainsbury but nothing doing. Seem to be missing g all the bargains lately . I must admit seem to be selling if I canChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -

Now this is the very thing that puts me off of selling on eBay again.
I have so many bits to get rid of, and have been car booting a good many of them (we made £47 after paying for the pitch 2 weeks ago), but I feel some bits are just worth a bit more that I would get at a car boot (e.g. a brand new yuu bag), so I've put them aside for eBaying. I don't use FB at all, so that is not an alternative selling medium for me. Maybe I should put them on Gumtree ....:cool:Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Bad Day
Miss Hoodie was coming back from walking her friend home and saw a cat being run over, - she saw the lot, - the lady stopped, and asked Miss Hoodie if she knew where the nearest vets was, - she couldn't remember the name of the one we use, (5mins away from home) but she directed her to the area, really proud when she told me that.
But from what she said about the accident, the cat had died just after being hit, but she saw and heard the lot, she said she was sick at the time, came home hysterial, being sick, literally exhausted herself out and fell asleep, but shes took it to heart, and gone back into herself. i feel awful as with her starting secondary school - making an effort that she has more freedom, and this happens. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Susan - hope your having a good time at DD's, sounds like shes going great guns bless her, and OH - what can I say, bar do you loan him out!!! Sounds like your going well with eBay, - bar the excuses... I've got a few bits to list, - just getting round to it...
springdreams - Sounds like a good profit from the carboot, - the one we go to, if everything was priced at 10p we'd have the table cleared, - the lady who has the table next to us, (they do it for charity), we call the "customers", short hands, deep pockets brigade!
Miss Hoodie got 2 more days left at school, - there allowed to take a tshirt in on Thursday to get the rest of the class to sign it. It good as the new school has a 2 week summer school so the kids can get to know each other and do activites, so she's doing one of the weeks. Half expecting the limbo feeling from her.
better head to bed... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Does anyone know where the forum board is where they save money / pay debts . I see the signatures on the bottom saying sealed pot challenge... £**** in 100 days etc and can't find them. I'm in the sealed pot challenge but joined and never found the forum again :-( I'm sure I'm cracking upChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Morning all
Susan, I've seen those sealed pot challenges on the Income forum but I imagine they are in other places too eg debt free
I'm ok thanks for asking. The latest love affair was one of those things you know from the beginning is a big mistake but you go ahead. Then you realise it can't go on and end it. But keep giving in. Well, this weekend I stopped it for good and nothing the other person is going to say to me is going to change my mind. So all this has been pre-occupying me. Apart from that I had DS2 for his usual visit week before last had various strange symptoms which are either emotional or else down to the pills I am taking as a result of those blood tests.
I had to have another test this week and received a letter saying the doctor wanted to see me so will have to make an appt.
I also had an optician's appt, first in about 4 years, didn't realise it was that long. No different glasses needed and she thought my irritated eye problem is down to skin around the eye not inside it.
Dad's also had some bad news from the doctor/hospital so I've had a lot on my mind.
I was also supposed to be trying to get myself an income as I'm living off savings but thought I'd leave it this month as I can't think straight.
I can't recall if I mentioned here that a social worker came round for over 2 hours about a scheme called Shared Lives, where you have people either to live with you full time or overnight stays or just in the daytime. There is an assessment process of about 6 months before you go to an interview panel then it could take months after before you get matched to the right people.
That would mean no payment until about 8 months time - maybe even longer. I don't like the idea of waiting so long for something that you may not even want to do by the time it gets that far ahead.
So I doubt I'll go ahead.
I've been reading all the posts but haven't managed to post until today. I'll come back later today to do some replies.0
