I'd love to revisit sheringham. I love the steam train. We used to holiday at kelling every year before we move to norfolk.
Another musicals idea : a medal with 'courage' for wizard of oz.
Hope all well. Cant believe we're nearly may already.

Now I am being nosey!! If the Advent calendar is musicals is it leading to something- like tickets for a show?

Not exactly musicals-well or opera (operetta) but I would think a few G & S lend themselves to clues- like Pirate (of Penzance), Gondoliers, Yeoman, Patience....?

    Hi all

I've been awol due to family stuff, socialising etc.

Dundeedoll - I have old coins you can have, tell me what you need. I brought some back from MIL's home when it was being sold. Although I have no idea where I put them, but if there isn't any rush then I expect they will be located.

I have another funeral tomorrow, a friend from the art club that fell over and hit her head a few weeks ago in her house. She was much younger than me, same as the friend that killed himself. I can't believe they are both gone.

Easter seemed to come and go without me even noticing, that's because DS2's home visit coincided with the week before so he got his eggs that week and DS1 arrived unexpectedly with his g/f last weekend.

I still haven't sorted all the stuff from the other house and keep moving it from one room to another.

Rufus hope you have a good time away, and enjoy the swim.

Mum2one, I noticed no calamity on your recent trip.

    Susan, hope you feel better

    Welcome sammy kaye :j

Were home safe and sound - went to Goa, - it was a culture shock, an adventure, a nightmare and a trip of a lifetime,

    Good Points....
Miss Hoodie went on a elephant ride, (guess who had tears!!)
Both got to bath an elephant - Miss Hoodie got to sit on its back and have a shower
Stayed night on a houseboat, - Miss Hoodie got to drive the boat... so funny about 30mins into her "lesson" the captain disappeared to take a phone call, and went to the other end of the boat... 40ft length...
Met some lovely guests at hotel (British)
    Fab market trip

    Bad Points.....
Miss Hoodie picked an infection up on 2nd day, and 1st doctors visit - was a local hospital, were sat in the waiting room and a dog walks in...
Then had to have doctor out to us at hotel (the hotel paid for this visit) either 3/5days in hosp on IV drip or chance 2jabs, 4 sets of tablets (we took the jab option)

    The hotel policies.......

We had 3 stalkers (Indian guests)

Spending 3hrs in general managers office - telling him exactly what I thought...

Now in hands of the tour operator...

    ---
Been to GP back at home, we both picked up infections from holiday.

Hope everyone had a good Easter, and lots of eggs, just playing catch up so Santas challenge be 2mor (apologies) xxxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Glad to hear you are home safe...maybe not quite sound!!
Oh dear.....sounds like a holiday and a half with (unwanted) extras thrown in for good measure

Hopefully in time you will dwell on the good points and the nasty bug(s) will be a thing of the past.

bathing with elephants would have been very memorable.

I haven't been to any part of the Indian sub continent ,but fortunately have come home unscathed from some fairly primitive places!

Hi Dundee Doll- well it could be pantomime tickets, the local Am dram or a DVD or CD of her favourite show- or hits from the shows like a compilation of Andrew LLoyd Webber..... I just thought they were all clues leading to.....something!!
