More washing done here, 2 hour nap decluttered and lunch/dinner all done. Moved the boys farms up onto their desk so hopefully that will work better than the floor.

Think my lovely laptop is on it's way out, slow to get going, buttons not working right. Think i'll just have to wait it out really can afford one at the minute.

Was wondering for anyone with pets. Which sites do you use for the likes of worming tablets and flee stuff? Need to be getting ozzy and bo some bits.

Feel so much better for an hour in the fresh air. Washing smelling lovely on the maidens.

Hoovering next whilst the gammon cooks. DS1 and DS2 are away go-karting as DS1's present to DS2 so still very quiet here. DH is doing something which involves plugs but I am not sure what.

I had a lovely long walk with the dogs along the River Ouse in the sunshine and then came home, had BLT for lunch, hoovered downstairs only and read the paper. The Yorkshires are now cooked and in the freezer and I have prepared tonights dinner (leftover turkey in a pasta bake).

I have also updated calendars with reminders for next year etc.

Tomorrow, I plan to bath the dogs after they've had their walks and actually that it is it. Apart from dailies and making roast dinner, I plan to relax.

Work bits done, decided to sit and look through the catalogues myself to see what make-up stuff I wanted to buy with my Christmas money Nothing else done except lots of texting and watching TV I have a big pan of bolognese slowly bubbling away on the hob. I'm going to portion it up and stick it in the freezer when its done.

Plan for tomorrow is to do some baking. It'll clear cupboard/shelf space, allow me to have stuff in for DDs packed lunches, and give me something to do other than stuff myself with sweets Well, that's the plan, whether it actually happens or not is another matter lol :rotfl:

Or I might take my Christmas decorations down. Actually anything other than spending another full day sat here watching TV will be good

Hi all - it has taken me ages to get through the thread since I last posted as you have all been so busy. Hope everyone had agreat time.

I have just put on a load of washing, but no flying been done other than a quick hoover yesterday and bathroom blitz for relations visiting. We had a great time. too much food and booze but hey! Taking DS back tomorrow - it has been so lovely having him home and he has been well fed and watered and hopefully rested too. Will get back in the swing of things on Tuesday as DH back at work and we are on our own on NYD.

Took the family to the sales/ to spend Christmas vouchers/money.


Ds2 bought 6 books (3 for 2s) and more lego, OH & DS1 bought CDs and I bought a needle to sew up chunky knitting.


DS2 wanted a football top but his size was unavailable so I have to pay delivery and my straighteners were sold out in store.

We peeled out the house to walk to the local sainsbobs, currently doing an online shop to avoid that again.

3 washing loads done, hanging on my new rack, kitchen has been cleaned and rearranged multiple times to make new for a new Christmas pressie of tabletop dishwasher.

Tiny is currently falling asleep in front of the washing machine, but I know that if I move her she will suddenly be wide awake.

Just basics done here. Christmas tree is finally down whoop! Loads more space to play now.

My neighbours are having a party tonight so it will mean a late one for me I just hope they dont start to sing, deafening music I can deal with but any singing and I will ring the council noise stopper people lol

Its my birthday in the morning and something tells my OH has forgot.... We shall see.

Hi dusty, I really am, thank you :A I know that list a few pages back looks full on but it's only itty bitty stuff really. I've had a very relaxed christmas! And no work for another 8 days :T

I've been out all afternoon (taking tea / coffee in a rather posh hotel ) and evening (stopped at my mums on way home for a really good natter) so have barely done anything today...

Actually, I am feeling better than I have in a long time. No tears on Xmas day (even when DS shouted into the sky "Merry Christmas Daddy!" as we let the lantern go :T). Am feeling quite positive just now, so I'm making the most of it I do feel quite contented with myself (not my situation, if you see what I mean, I'm not glad about that, but I mean inside, accepting of the person I am - Lordy I'm talking carp again :rotfl:)

Anyway. I. Have. Not. Done. Jobs. Today. Ahem. but I have drunk rather too much coffee...
