I spent years before finding these boards thinking that I was coping and in fact I was just going in circles. Dont despair the important thing is that you are aware and I agree keep logging in and keep recording all spends. Also dont forget to ask yourself if you really need it before buying it. I often sleep on it before buying something that way I often change my mind (especially after consulting my spreadsheet). It is hard but just think one day the money will be in the bank to go on a shopping spree!0

Will your budget allow you to give yourself some pocketmoney - even if its £20 for the month - that way you can have one treat?0

Hiya, I see from your Sig you have had your debt free day, how brilliant, soo happy for you xxx
Yes my budget will allow me some pocket money, best I do that that spend my bill money, it's just stupid when I think of some of the things I've done in the past, so self distructive. I can go into 2015 debt free, if u knuckle down.
I am thinking of goimg to the bank and stopping to continuous payments on my payday loan, hoping that will force them into accepting a monthly amount. I realize my fault for getting it in the first place. I can manage the payments on the 4 6 month loans, each month I get the option to pay off each 6 month loan in full for half the cost of full term amount. If I can stick to my budget, I should be able to pay one off each month

Good luck,
