  • Hiya Mrs Cheshire and midgie, thank you for reading and posting :)

Mrs Cheshire I use the one that is called expense manage, it has a blue background with a white cheque and pen on it. It is brilliant. hope you can find it.

    Midgie,
I have a long way to go and lots of bad habits to get out of. I have been almost debt free, only to rack it up again. But this is the last time.

5 days to payday and counting. Then I can sort a full 4 weeks budget. Paid 4 weekly. Managed to pick up an overtime day-shift for Feb pay so that and extra to add to pay. Also picking up 6 extra nights, due to holiday cover end of January/ beginning of February, so will have a good February pay :money:. That will be put straight to loans to pay off.

    40p more in the 20p jar .

Apart from updating my sig. All I am going to log in my posts are my Spends. I have put £200 to one side. This is to cover.

    Food
    Small household items
Cleaning stuff (must checkout old-style board)
    Toiletries

I will add to list anything that else comes to mind.

Yeasterdays food shop £39 in Tesco. NS day today, thats good for a Saturday. I have been practicing my New Mantra. " do I NEED it or just WANT it" also joined the thread.

I am in the process of doing a cupboard fridge/freezer eventory, to load in to my phone app. So I know what I have at the press of a button, when planning meals.

£11 to last me till Thursday. Doable IT IS.

  • 2 NSD days in a row :j, hoping for 3 with tomorrow. Well on target with food shop this week. But then again, quite a bit of stuff in from £39 Tesco shop.

What ever is left over from food allowance , on a weekly basis, I have decided to pay off CC. If I carry it over to the next week. I will not teach me to manage on £50. I want to start every Friday with a new £50. Next month I am hoping I can drop it down to £45 and go from there.

    :)

Doing really well DF2014! I can't wait for payday to update my siggy and spreadsheets. You are amazing at managing your budgets, I'm struggling this month, though I knew I would as I was still paying for Christmas from my January paypacket. I won't be making that mistake again next year.

Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!:j
