Another glorious defeat for Parking Eye caused by the blind judges not accepting their perfectly valid costs as actual losses suffered. Those silly judges not knowing the law0

If the courts are throwing parking eye cases out/ruing against parking eye, then isnt there website in breach of some advertising standards rules/trading standards rules/regulations, for want of a better word peddling !!!!!! on their news section. From the Plain Language Commission:

The ASA could be contacted but many websites don't include all the truth. The fact that they specifically mention forum advice means that they are bothered about it. Why else do they monitor this forum?
"Negative" publicity can also prompt curiosity and from one of the early threads I started - regarding this prompted two newbies to seek help.
If you google "Parking Eye Parking charge" up comes loads of info and many links to MSE.
They cite 4 forum aided court defeats (which we don't know how much help if any they got)- well since then how wins have there been - I've lost count!
I bet they're not so happy now with LPC law:ParkingEye would like to thank LPC – who attended the court on behalf of ParkingEye – for their successful work on this matter.
http://www.parkingeye.co.uk/ParkingChargeFAQUnfortunately ParkingEye have to issue hundreds, sometimes thousands of County Court Claims each month to recover unpaid Parking Charges - Take appropriate action and do not ignore the Parking Charge.
Yet only show that one page of cases and state that is all they've taken upto sept 2013 - two of those cases were dismissed.0 -

One of the defendants has requested that we don't publish any details until a 21 day deadline has passed, so all will be revealed after 10th January.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
The details of both these cases are known to, and have been verified by, a group of helpers off-forum.

Thanks for clarification BP, understand now. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ahhh! I thought I sensed BP involvement! Fantastic work and well done to the forum members doing the work behind the scenes on this one.
It looks like it is the first GPEOL win, so strikes me as being a very important one to obtain the transcript for - put me down for a tenner if you are organising a fund.

I think PE lost another GPOL court case a week or so ago. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Yep, the latest one here ParkingEye v Heggie, 3JD04791 was won on ''no GPEOL'' where the OP had refused PE's kind offer of paying £50:

Good for PaulD, he had paid and displayed and PE knew that. He called their bluff and won - good judge!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well done to Bargepole and team!
Has anyone noticed that whenever we report a success at court against parking eye - we sure as hell get a newbie poster claiming to have a CCJ against them.

NB this also happened the last time Bargepole reported the three court losses.0
