You've worked really hard on it, and I'm sending positive vibes in your direction that you'll get good marks.
That's still a sizeable list you've given yourself for things to do, but was pleased to see a bit of 'you' time, which is important.
Enjoy doing the 'thing you love' bit
Thanks GoldieI probably just don't post enough about 'me' time things - although yes there's been less of that lately with the assignment.

Hi all,
I have been meaning to ask has anyone got any advice regarding my personal statement for my application for my MA please?
Due to the way i've studied for my degree it has been years since i've done one and other than putting forward the reasons i want to do the course and feel I am a suitable applicant for it is there anything else i should cover off?

Align your personal statement to the course aims and objectives drawing out skills and experience of particular relevance. Feel free to pm it to me when you've got an outline. Erm... would love to do one in the future if i was ever good enough
Speaking from experience, a PhD is less about being clever and more about being organised and persistent :rotfl: Neither of which I was at the start, but I damn well am now :rotfl: If you want it enough, go for it! :j
Well done again on submitting
Not sure about personal statement - is there anything else in your life you've done that's relevant? Perhaps if it's been a while since you did your degree mention something about having kept up with academic study or something? Good luck!0 -

Cheery - i've just handed in my final piece of work for my degree *positive vibes* all please - its just taken a few years to get through itThanks for the advice re. phd
Brizzle - PM duly sent - thank you, you are very generous
I will hopefully be back on later to update but have a very busy day ahead - must remember my list !
In annoying news got a message from my friend yesterday about the races we're going to, someone in the group has changed their minds so we're all going to an evening race now - its annoying because i had my outfit sorted out and now need to find some trousers that will fit the bill - with it being a night race and such an open course i have a fear of being cold so it will definitely be a trouser wearing day - only trouble is i don't have any - not smart onesI will also need to buy some flat shoes as well as we will get to see a show after - all done at the races that is good too but i don't fancy spending + 8hours standing in heels in the open air. Drat! Flat shoes have been a need for some time - (i struggle due to my feet so can't just buy any of the cheap cute ones i've seen - i'll need laces or a strap on the shoe) Grrsomeness spending - oh well best get on with the day and be back later x

Woo, congrats on finishing your final piece of work, I'm sure it's fab :T :T :T
Annoying about changing plans though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Well done on getting degree work finished :T.
If you needed flat shoes then see this as an opportunity not a problem.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
