Thanks INOD. Yes i always say i value experiences, events more than 'things' its the making of memories :D and live performances are indeed fab - the problem is of course that i do need to wear something to attend such things so can't just not buy anything ever  Holiday is a case in point - need a few more dressy items than i currently have but fortunately choosing off the bay of e new items at vastly reduced prices and that will double up for weddings, parties and races so not too bad there. Except of course for the things that have come and are not suitable - will sell on as they are not something i can complain about though am sure an item i got is not 'new with tags' as described but i can't prove it either :( Still dress my Mr didn't like at all looks lovely on IMHO and i'll be wearing that next week to the show :D

Ok, contacted tutor - need to do again tomorrow so will leave on my list. Did 300 words then scrapped them and did 300 again.

Now going through 1 page seeing what my list of inclusions i didn't include and either scrapping, moving to another bit or popping them in.

Then it'll be the next 300 words.

I have to say it has been really tough doing this course, working full time, keeping the house going and clearing debt (end of last year whilst on course) attempting overpayments and all lifes usual things of people to see, holidays to book, christenings and weddings and various significant parties to attend.

    Hi DFW

Wow, I have just read the last page of your diary, and I am so impressed. I feel a little lacklustre in comparison.

You must have bags of energy, I was tired just reading it!! hehe
What a fab job you are doing.

When I get some more time (ho ho -- we still live in hope, eh?), I will read more. hope you don't mind!

Hello all and julliff thank you for stopping by.

I am posting now in an attempt to both wake myself up a bit and regain focus on my assignment :o

I have far too many words

I also have more words i need to put in :eek::eek:

    And breathe...

Objective 1 = separate out 2ndry quotes leaving the bones of the assignment.

Then reduce the assignment by 500 words.

Then report back - again focus and to keep me awake. Oh yes i have to be 'up' in a few hours for work :eek::eek: - oh dear :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Word limits are the work of the devil, arent they?!  I hated them at uni: given the size of my mouth, that's hardly a surprise, though, is it?! :rotfl:

Best of luck with it: strip it back then rebuild if necessary. Chances are it will be just fine in its 'stripped back' version, then you can add a little if the word count allows, but chances are you will just be squeaking in under it.

Better let you get on with it then! ;) xxx

Thanks PB :) yep word counts and all the other things going on here - obviously would have been better if i'd got the time off work i needed and also if work hadn't been so stressful that it has affected me being able to work on this :(

I also think it would have helped if there could be any feedback at all from the tutor following the proposal submission - but seems not.

    Rightio next update

Ok i've cut the 500 words and taken out the 2ndry stuff.

Next step is primary text by primary text.

Lift out entire text 1 from assignment to read through altogether.

Edit - this one needs to lose at least 200 words

Put quotes in and check them

    Polish

I have never ever been so far behind on a piece of work before  work stress and family illness have been on my mind too much.

    Ok back to it

and if any of you see someone walking around tomorrow looking like they're asleep - its me, give me a nudge to wake me up :D
