Aw thanks all :Dthe comp is working ! yeah :T
Well i did something today that i haven't done for years and had a bit of pampering / glamourification - well as far as i can anywho's :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Twas in budget from personal spends and yesterday i did ponder cancelling but went and am i glad i did - i feel much more like 'me' nownot that i'm atall glamorous :rotfl::rotfl: and the bonus was being sat down / lay down forced me to just stop and switch off
I went to the hairdressers - not had my hair done i think since either feb or march - you know that lovely light feeling they make it ? And the head massage whilst washing - bliss
Eyebrows had been done first so i didn't have to squash my briefly bouncy hair - and a fine taming job was done there too
What was nice as well was the people doing these for me were lovely so really nice chats were had - again helping me stop and switch off
Ok - so the above might just maintenance for many - and it was for me and i let it slide and now feel much better for looking after my appearance a bit better
And finally i had my nails done - they aren't too long :rotfl::rotfl: and it was a real luxury for mr to have them done. I had quite good nails but they've become unhealthy? i think and have been snapping and splitting and breaking - even my Mr came home and was 'wow' :T:j I think he realised the wee boost i needed and i can say all day i've felt much better in myself and am looking forward to keeping this up
In personal health news i am tackling a couple of my health issues at the moment - should be 1 at a time but the presumed help with migraines didn't work out so i am onto something new.
I am also keeping up with my running - brizzle & cheery care to virtually join me on my plods? The running is helping with my overall fitness and i do genuinely enjoy achieving things i could not do before - and of course health comes first right? and this helps with that overall
I have to say i love the 'community' feel of it as other runners / cyclists / walkers give nods and smiles and it makes me feel like i belong to a secret group or something - i know maybe i shouldn't let my mind wonder so much when i run :rotfl::rotfl:
Work news: - i have found a job to apply for :T ok it says experienced and i am not but i am enthusiastic, determined, committed and have transferable skills - closing date july so will holler for advice if its needed and if thats ok?
House news: - We are trying our best to save up for the bathroom to be done - which is honestly horrendous and is a room i am ashamed to have people useTo this end i will be listing for sale a prized possession - needs must. Regular over payments continue with nothing extra at the moment as there are the utility bills to pay which i do not earn enough to budget for and so this has to be paid from extras.
The decluttering continues although there is much less leaving the house now which is understandable given my huge declutter last timeBut all that is leaving the house is making everything look so much better :T

Update continued...
The frugal:- i have been 'making do' with some things instead of buying new and when i have bought new it has been cheap / on offer / bay of e.
The not-so frugal-ish:- panic bought an outfit for saturday, in the sale, and then talked myself into the above (making do) return for a refund :T
Boots broke on the way to work - i literally arrived into work, on a day of 'showers' with the front part of the base of my shoe missing  i have no spares at home so instead of buying cheap as these were (£5) i bought a replacement pair at less than half price in the sale and they are leather and hopefully more durable(£25) Still make me feel a bit smarther and are suitable for interview whilst the others weren't.
All other things...
I may have mentioned a family members illness? it is improving so that is good news.
June's list needs some catching up :rotfl::rotfl:
Many adventures have been plotted and planned by me and my Mr :smileyhea

Hi DDFW
I hope everything is OK with you and life is treating you well. I'm just lurking at the moment but if my house purchase goes through (it is still early days yet and I'm nervous as the last two have fallen through) I shall be back and with focus.
Best wishes xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

I've been doing yoga recently and I have come to realise that this is absolutely CRUCIAL for our mental health in the, well, mental, world that we live in.DedicatedDFW wrote: »I went to the hairdressers - not had my hair done i think since either feb or march - you know that lovely light feeling they make it ?
I had mine done on Friday. Gosh, it was desperate: I can't remember how long it is since it was done. I think I lost a stone in weight the second it was snipped!DedicatedDFW wrote: »I am also keeping up with my running
I walked about four miles today. *Puffs out chest proudly*DedicatedDFW wrote: »Work news: - i have found a job to apply for :T ok it says experienced and i am not but i am enthusiastic, determined, committed and have transferable skills - closing date july so will holler for advice if its needed and if thats ok?
Yay! Highlight all your good points (of which there are many) and give it 110% and you never know!DedicatedDFW wrote: »House news: - We are trying our best to save up for the bathroom to be done - which is honestly horrendous and is a room i am ashamed to have people use

PB - i've PM'd you
Nothing like an imminent visit to get the motivation to get the place looking sparkling - at least you get warning. My family only visits if i go and pick them up and bring them and take them home again after - so just about never :rotfl: OH's family however just lurve to do the surprise visits - i have no idea why this always coincides with the house looking just about the worst its ever looked :eek::eek:
Shucks not glamorous at all
I have considered exercise classes too but there's nothing convenient really.. Glad you are enjoying the yoga and well done on the walking chuck that is a good amount to do
And the guttering... well... - its gonna be done at the same time :j had a wee word with my mr and he's on board with it :T Woo!
Hope you are ok hon, you know where i am if you need me xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
