So glad to hear you sounding cheery DDFW :j :j Amazing what a bit of primping can do to the way you feel sometimes :) And YAY for adventures :):):) You're doing a grand job. I am definitely up for some virtual running chum-ness :D Struggling with my own motivation a bit at the minute :o although I did knock a whole FOUR SECONDS off my 5k pb this week :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ooh well done Cheery :T i will probably not break any records speed wise but also had a PB today on my run - considering i was shattered, hungry and running into the wind or hot sun (way out, way back) i was pretty chuffed with meself :) I have to keep up with my program otherwise i won't be race ready :o Plus i need to trim down somewhat so am hoping my little plodding along will help - When are you running next and how far? :)
Good luck with the job app. Shout if you need a second or third opinion on your submission.

Thanks INOD i really do appreciate your support :)

    Hello All,

I only have time for a quick post as the evening has got away from me - why do jobs always take longer than you think?

I have been ill again :( But the source of illness has been tracked down and dispensed with :T back at the docs tomorrow but all should be good i hope :)

So with struggling on working i have not been up to much else and am hoping to get back into the swing of things now - i've already got a few niggling jobs out of the way tonight and feel tons better for it :D

Hope everyone is well and i will pop round diaries starting tomorrow.

    xx

Thank goodness you have got to bottom of illness....hope it can now be dismissed pronto.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Thanks guys - yes thanks i'm much better now - although i had not 1 but 2 visits to the docs today - nowt to worry about i'm sure. First 1 i'd booked and then doc told me to book for routine tests - got back in the same day - did mean some idling about town after completing my other errands and spent some money in the charity shop on a couple of books - but will be a good read i hope and cheaper than elsewhere and for a good cause. And then it was back to the docs - felt like i was losing my day to the waiting room but all done now and thats reminded me to pop a reminder down to call back for results - although i expect it'll be the usual 'all fine' its best just to call for that confirmation :)

1st July: - £5 removal of nail polish - has to be done a certain way so no means of saving this

4, Shopping list: - aim £50 a week and analyse spends on here:
Week 1 1st-8th:- £10.32 fruit & veg at cheaper shop and needed - the key here is its NEEDED i would be going very hungry without it. I have already prepped it all and frozen some bits in little bags as these can stretch a bit further

5, Keep up with weekly running program will be at 10 miles by end of month

    15, weight loss program - weigh-in Fridays

    16, What do i want?
List all the things i want to achieve Done! :T Will add to as needed but a decent start has been made and now to be prettily added into my book :)
Use each item listed as a page header e.g mortgage freedom
What are the things i can do to help me get there? e.g Make overpayments, find a better paid job, sell stuff, get a better deal as soon as i can, eek out all things that can be stretched further, spend wisely, consider purchases. whats the timeframe? Break down the target into amounts. How will i achieve the amounts? What can i do to help me achieve these targets?
What else acts as a motivating factor for me? Use it.
Along with this why do i want to achieve this? Be clear and assess if this is realistic e.g. i want to be mortgage free to have a feeling of financial security and give both of us more choices with how we spend our working life. Unrealistic would be: Being mortgage free would make me happy. - of course i'd be happy with that aspect of my life (homeowner) but it would not make me happy with everything else in my life
    So: i have a target, a timeframe, a reason, ANYTHING I'VE MISSED?

    17, research trip
1, 4th june done on 4th of june rest needs doing...

    18, Carboot

    19, BOOK ON COURSES

20, MINIMUM 1 daily MSE task:
01/07 immediate prepping of veg - MSE as otherwise it'd likely go to waste
01/07 Meal for 2 eeked out to 3 portions :T
01/07 Decluttered wardrobe = 1 dress destined for bay of e - its a choice between 2, both are lovely but aren't needed (was needed at the time but the venue changed for races)
01/07 food shopping done at cheaper supermarket and i checked prices too - didn't buy anything thats cheaper elsewhere :)
01/07 free exercise (is this tenuous now? :rotfl:) i used to pay for a cheap gym membership so running is definitely more wallet friendly :)

02/07 walk to station = no petrol usage
02/07 packed lunch - no food spends all day
    02/07 free exercise - running
    02/07 own manicure

    Hi All,

Assessment of today is small steps and not too much achieved but some days are just like that i guess

Good points were no food spends, full packed lunch taken so this meant no food going to waste that needs to be used up.

Up early enough to walk to station - saving petrol.

Sorted out returns of stuff thats been hanging around.

Cleared the 'decluttered' stuff out of the house - makes house tidier and overall feels better and lighter :)

Eeked out a meal to 2 meals instead of the 1 - still a bit peckish now mind :rotfl:

Hope everyone is good - gotta dash now x
