    Morning All :)

Well what a listy day this is turning out to be :rotfl:

I am shattered and thought ot best to gather my thoughts all in 1 place and then they can be properly addressed.

So this week was a mixed bag really - the main good thing about it was that i got my assignment in :T My worst piece of work though :( Basically we didn't cover the question i had selected to answer and it would have been way too much work for me to attempt without this. So i answered a question i had zero interest in :o:( and it was a massive struggle for me. But its done now :T i have a large piece of work i need to submit on Tuesday now so that is the focus - with all the other household money things thrown in to give me a break and keep things ticking along. Its amazing both how much i'd let the tidiness slip whilst in the throws of assignment and also how quickly that was rectified this morning with everything having a place now its really made a difference :D

So the assignment was the good and

The bad was i very nearly decided to leave work this week :( i hardly slept last night too just going over everything. This is not good. But i made the decision to stay for now - uni finishes this month and then i can really push on getting a new job and doing something i want to do. I will no doubt be taking a pay cut from what i've seen advertised but that will all work itself out. Anyway i have switched the 'off' switch now on fretting about things - uni is the priority and then i am sure the right job will be waiting for me - positive thinking and all that :D

Purchases were good and bad - good as a bargain and a need, bad because its still spending money but if it has to be spent and is being done wisely then that is fine i think :)

What else has happened this week? Oh sold a few bits on the bay so thats good :T

Overspent on shopping but i can account for why when i do my analysis :D - oh yes, 1 of the reasons was i went to the shop and bought a readymeal thing - it was really nice but was i think about £5 - will check later - i just didnt have the time to even prepare potatoes with the assignment to do - so i hope to be organised this week start to build up batch cooking too. Still the assignment was priority and £5 to save time and stress is ok.

Right i'm going to make a start and will be popping in for a break later :D

what fab May challenges you have!! :)

came in here to make confession, although i now can't remember if this is the right place! Remember weeks (months??) we talked about a box of old textbooks etc i planned to put on amazon, and when i tried i discovered they were ALREADY ON THERE and had been for several years (and not one sold!!), and i vowed to take them to the charity shop instead?

well, i brought them downstairs and they've been cluttering up the kitchen instead :o :rotfl: :rotfl: yesterday i even went through and started taking some out! gah! No Cheery, STOP IT!! :rotfl: Haven't looked at these since i finished my degree so why i suddenly think they're interesting now is beyond me!!

did a final amazon check on the poshest - one is now on 10th edition (mine is 2nd) and going for 1p. Another is so ancient it's irrelevant. But a third there's only one on amazon, going for £30!

So my May challenge is to stick my copy on there for £20 nd get the bloody thing OUT OF THE HOUSE for good!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Am off to have a cup of tea. Was sitting here happily reading then caught up on Dedicated's thread and am exhausted by May list. Need cup of tea to perk self back up:rotfl:

Good ness knows how you do it. :rotfl:
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Wow, that is some set of lists, DDFW, good luck getting all that done. :)

I think you are right to concentrate on one thing at a time - getting your uni course done is a priority, the rest can wait a bit. Give your brain time to have a good think and mull it all over, including any possible salary implications. One day at a time, one thing at a time, DDFW. :)

And an occasional Ready Meal is not a capital offence. Indeed, I had a ready meal last night - I often do on a Friday - it was a cottage pie and it was lovely comfort food, I enjoyed it and no washing up either. :D

Well done on the ebay sales - it's amazing really because you reckoned you had already decluttered all possible stuff yet you are still finding things to sell. Makes me feel slightly embarrassed because I have LOADS of things to sell. :o

    Have a loverly day. :)

Hi, DDFW, good luck with all the activities on your list.

It looks a lot, but if anyone can do it all, it's you. I admire your focused attitude:)

I remember Cheery - but i *think* in your defence, you did try and take them to the charity shop and they weren't accepting them at that time?

Good idea to pop the dear one on for £20 :T I did this recently with a book - think it was on for £20 and i put mine on for £10 and it sold within the month :)

    Go for it Cheery! :D

Thanks p&f - but leaving this job has been a priority for some time so its not a rash decision - although it would seem like that if i did just leave :o

The ready meal was more to do with the spend taking me so far over budget but at the end of the day the uni and time were more important - it was an ok meal. - Coul do with one now - forgot to meal plan for myself today - toast is looking a stong possibility right now

I know you've had lots on p&f - this might be your month for sales - whats your target going to be? :)

Yep i was surprised too - some stuff i should have sold earlier but some is what i would keep anyway but need the money more

I did a bit of weeding whilst out in the garden earlier - tis all getting there slowly but surely - had to make myself come back in though as more weeds than available time :rotfl::rotfl:
