Just dropping on to say that I did a freezer inventory today - I've only got a little freezer, but there were things in there that I'd forgotten about. Will try to keep it up to date.

I'm wondering about a cupboard inventory now, but tend to think it's easier to glance into a cupboard to see what's there, so will put that one on the back burner for now

    Hi GG,

Yep i am quite good at knowing what we have in except for the freezer of doom. Anywho's no more buying freezer food until at least 1 full shelf has been emptied - that doesn't mean i'll be eating 14 packs of sausages anytime soon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But just eating stuff from there and distributing to other shelves as space allows

I didn't inventory the shelves, just re-organised into date order and food type sections - my Mr told me we had no ham in so i added to my list - found 7 tins of it in the cupboard it always gets put in  So its all sorted out and the ham has been crossed off the list

Hope you had some nice surprises in your freezer i was looking at some stuff going 'err meat?' :rotfl:

This is my current wardrobe / diet loop too Dedicated, lots to wear but a little too many bulges in the wrong places at the moment! A full wardrobe declutter is awaiting a bit of weight decluttering first!

You're doing well with all your decluttering, clothes, cupboards and all! :T

Hey hbbo - good to see you again :D I was brave and took the 1 pair of next size up shorts out of the wardrobe and got them ready to list for sale - I *will* lose the weight :o:) Remaining shorts are the size i have been for a long time although a bit big for my target weight - which i won't have reached before my hols without anything drastic happening - 2.5 stone to lose ideally 3

Well, there were a quite startling amount of fish cakes in there. I have no idea why I have been stock piling them! That's a few Saturday lunches sorted out

Where did the day go? This healthy / balanced eating malarky is 2 things - time consuming and expensive - was yummy too though :D Today i enjoyed oven baked smoked haddock served with a pea sauce, mashed salad potatoes with salt pepper and butter and stir fry. Left over fish and stir fry ready for lunch tomorrow.

The problem is i would never eat this lavishly normally.

The potatoes would be a meal on their own. As would the stir fry. The fish (for me) is a luxury midweek.

Several bay of e items written up and photo'd. 2 items ready to be washed before listing - i'm not that mucky but they must have been caught on something on the journey to the wardrobe.

Annoyingly had a message about an item after listing has ended so i don't know what it was and would like to get it sold and posted with everything else tomorrow. Replied to potential buyer (message came through late) but no response.

I need to shower and package items now but the view of the sky here is just beautiful gorgeous pinks and blues :D

    Hope everyone is well. x

Fish is quite expensive - I often try to get ad-hoc reduced stuff if possible. It is yummy though and so easy to cook - I often just oven-bake it as you've done, perhaps slathered with olive oil, lemon juice and black pepper - yum!

I try to eat low-carb as far as possible, so I try to avoid potatoes - though it's hard because I love them. :) I have tons of veggies though.

Thanks jwil - the freezer really needs to have less stuff in it though - although i'll probably panic then about not having enough food. Also it seems the price items are reduced in the supermarket has changed - i didn't shop there at the times they were being reduced it was just a happy co-incidence. I cannot get in any earlier due to work and now it seems all the reduced shelves are empty as they are reducing items earlier instead :(
