great to see you so motivated about selling but also about saving for a big event. Sounds great. Will your OH help pay for it/ work towards it?
Have a great weekend
Thanks brizzle - i am not sure what my Mr will contribute - it is something with his friends / family so I would hope he does! I'm back! My computer broke, then my phone so I've had no internet access for what feels like eternity! You've been busy - glad to see about the MA - I hope it works well for you. I'm thinking of going back to skool as well in September, so I'll have to see how that works out. There's lots more to tell, but I had better do it on my diary as it hasn't been updated for nearly a MONTH () so I had better mosey on over there...just as soon as I have been and done the shopping for tomorrow's dinner.
See you soon.
Hi PB - ooh exciting news - can't wait to hear your plansGlad you are back and everything is ok - except for pesky internet x

Well i smashed my bay of e target for April with 31 new listings :T
I have decided to start the 50 items for May early now - as the event has motivated me to find and sell things so i have tried to get on with some of that over this FLW - especially as i am not sure what will happen with the changes next month. So 17 items of 50 done so far.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Thanks Al - i guess in some ways it is excitingBut it is also about spending over a day with some people who are close to us
It is however expensive  Which is why i'm trying to chunk it down and pay for it in parts so it won't feel quite so overwhelming.
But as i said it *is* for us and our budget anyway, a once in a lifetime experience
Now listed 18 of 50 items and trying to work out if there is anything else i can think to put on now *gulp*CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Well its been a bit of an odd day - or at least i have been poorly so not really able to tackle the day as much as i would have liked.
This means that very little assignment work has been done as my head just has not been able to cope with the nausea and concentrate on writing as well
I am glad i got the bay of e stuff on - this is of course seeing more clutter cleared and hopefully some pennies coming in :T
I have also had a look at houses for sale
So a lot of work to be done tomorrow - lets hope this is just a 24 hour bug - or less as i've had it since about lunchtime
Hope everyone has had a good dayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Oh no! Hope you feel better soon.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Hi LydiaJ and thanks
I tried to get up very early to catch up but when i got out bed to turn the alarm off my back wasn't working very well  so had to lie back down until everything got properly aligned  :rotfl: I must have needed the rest too. Sent a mail to my tutor *positive vibes* please
But today i have managed a coffee and am going to start in a mo. after a quick update - otherwise i won't know where i am up to and i like to have a little plan for the dayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Morning All,
I got to 19 of 50 items listed yesterday - this was to my new target - in total yesterday i listed 21 items - i had room for 29 but had not sorted out enough things.
Went to bed and had ideas for stuff to part with so i will aim to have another 11 items done by the end of today INOD thank you - i did part with some hairbands last time and will part with more today
Over the weekend me and my Mr had small chats about a couple of things - i was stunned that he mentioned the guttering  :j and that this will need replacing after the next big project (room renovation) - i will continue to save my allocated amount towards this but if he chips in some money then whatever i have left i can put towards one of the other targets - would love for it to be a shed but we'll need the flags putting down first - anyone got any recommendations on where i can get some nice, quality indian stone paving or similar ? I am thinking i need to set the target amount for this - when we have a shed then the indoors will be so much better as all the stuff that should be in a shed is in the house
I didn't mention to him about the loft either - but will continue to save in earnest for thisI did mention the gate and how this will affect the whole look of the house and he completely agreed - so i need to save £100 for that and hopefully he'll pay £50 and then i can put my £50 to something else.
I know this is MFW and i am talking about spending money on the house but the stuff we are saving for is a *need* and not a want and has needed to be done since we moved in. The guttering is essential. Decent loft access will not cost too much more than having new insulation and boarding put in (it is a good fixed price) it will make living here easier and hopefully help at the point of sale time or renting - this house is tiny so good storage and the ability to access it should be a bonus
So that is things to the good
On the bad my mr didn't support me on something i felt that he should do:(:(
Moving back to the positives - i have moved some money around today - does anyone know why the paying £5 account won't have paid?
Today then i need to ask my Mr to post a letter for me - it is terrible weather here and i'm not going out unless i *have* to.
I also need to sort out a couple of returns.
Select a minimum of 11 items for sale and prep them ready for the next FLW
Stop checking the bay of e
Assignment
This morning i have also looked at my freezer inventory and from this made a meal plan for next week and a shopping list
Rightio assignment then here for a break / update is the order of the day
Hope everyone is wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Not having good guttering is a false economy so spending on it is very MSE.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
