Hi Dedicated,
Sorry I've been AWOL and I'm even sorrier to hear that you are feeling so poorly. I have a seriously sneaking suspicion that a lot of this is to do with stress. You need to take it down a level. I thought you would once you were Debt Free, but you seem just as busy as ever.

Hope all is well DDFW
Is the job the same place as before?
Well done on getting the assignment done and hope you feel better soon x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hello DDFW, just found your thread! I am in an IVA with my OH and that is due to finish August next year. After that I intend to use half of what would normally be the monthly IVA payment (which is currently £600 - OUCH!) to overpay our mortgage. (OH does the regular monthly mortgage payment) £300 overpayment a month will be £3600 a year so definitley worth doing. Just need to focus on that aim and not be tempted to spend that money elsewhere!
Regarding wardrobes and decluttering - I decluttered my teenage son's wardrobe this week (with his help). We chucked out a pile of stuff he doesn't wear and out of that I acquired a black leather jacket, a grey woollen blouson jacket, a white, long-sleeved grandad-style tee shirt and a grey hoodie. Not boasting now, but they seem to fit me better than they did him! So, good result - some quality additions to my wardrobe and some breathing space in his.
Now if you could acquire a teenage lad with a stuffed-to-bursting wardrobe.....One life - your life - live it!0 -

Thanks all again for your lovely kind words
I am a bit tired now but i am better :j
Goldie - thanks for the advice - i had a huge target i set to declutter last year and i probably managed it but stopped keeping track  I don't store things in the loft but i know there are bits up there that my Mr stashed - like empty boxes and whatnot - when i get the loft done it will be cleared - mostly empty boxes being binned i suspect but no saleable treasures. I am sortof glad the loft isn't really useable as its not full of stuff - on the other hand i'd like stuff to sellWise words again from the lovely KC about threads / posting too
How is your decluttering going Goldie - i'm hoping to finish the bedroom this weekend :T
Brizzle - fab news on the cards / debt that is really amazing - i can't wait until you properly join us over hereI agree on the decluttering front too - very therapeutic
Watty - its interesting to see how stuff that wasn't an easy declutter before so become an easy declutter at a different time - thanks though i probably witter on about decluttering too much :rotfl:
KC - thanks - i am getting on with the next section of study and have already written out my assignment plan for the next assignment :T
PB & jwil - i even thought myself that maybe the dizzy/nausea combo could be from stress - it is frustratin as i have to stop what i'm doing - i one tried to work through it and fell over and ended up crawling to the sofaAnd yes same company jwil

Hi Nargleblast,
Thank you for stopping byWell done with tackling your debt too and it will feel fab when next August comes round :T
Well done on decluttering your sons wardrobe tooand replenishing yours of course
I have had some family kindly give me things so i can try and make a bit of money - i also think it saves them having to take to tip / charity - some of the items and i'm talking over 3 bin bags here simply were good for nothing but the rubbish - but then i have others who offer to help but throw really good items away  Never mind me what about the landfill  It is up to each individual and their choices but i'd rather they didn't offer to help then constantly chuck things away
It is a good plan you have for your mortgage next year. Hope you stop by againCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
