What is your target DDFW? I'm confused with the CC balance - did you use the money to pay off the mortgage or was it a balance transfer? It's nice to know what people are aiming for; I'm not just being nosy, honest, though feel free to ignore me if you would rather not say.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Hi all - it has been a few days so where am i up to spends wise?
28/07 NSD
29/07 Spends
Food shop £55.97
30/07 NSD
Money Saving
Activities have been: packed lunch every day
Walking to station every day
completing surveys where i can
meals from stores every day
altered hairdressers appointment so will stretch out the weeks inbetween it being done
Returned top for refund
Paid spare £2 from my purse into bank along with £10 for something i sold - overpaid the whole £24 from this & top refund off card target :T
organised carboot stuff
Food shopping under target which is good but mainly this was because i had a discount voucher so must do better next time.
I didn't get any more things listed for sale on the bay of e so also need to do better with that
As i said i also want to put a plan in place for clearing this card so hope to get round to that this weekend.
i hope everyone is well - i'm pretty tired all these headaches have taken it out of me
Am happy to have a target in my sig again though :T and hopefully this will motivate me to clear more things to hopefully collect some funds to this - although everything is looking pretty sparse. I could do with reading that decluttering book i think - i think there's a thread on here about it but i've no idea what its called and am too tired to look it up right now :rotfl: no money to buy the book anyway :rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi chocs how are you?
Sorry its not clear - i've yet to jot down the amount i've overpaid this year on the mortgage so i have that target.
The card target is the first stooze card i want to clear. I used the cards to pay extra payments to the mortgage but various things have happened and i also want to simplify things so i'm paying all i can towards this one to start with.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Yes definitely the Kon Marie thread, it's really inspiring! All the info you need is on that thread or elsewhere online."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi all
Yesterday was a NSD and i changed phone provider and made a saving on my monthly payments too :T
I posted my bay of e parcels and from the sales profits have paid a further £25 off my target card :T
Hoping for more sales but we'll see - had some silly offers on things eg £10 item being offered £1 - i feel i am quite reasonable with offers and know what i'll accept for things but am always surprised by these sorts of offers.
Today i'm going to clear out my make-up drawer again - i have my hair accessories / combs / brushes etc in here and its been decluttered a fair few times but as i'm wearing less make-up now i think there will be a few bits i can get rid of.
Spends Today and Yesterday
£0.00 :T
Money Saving
avoided wasting 2 x meals my Mr hadn't eaten by freezing them after looking up they would be ok for this
Changed phone provider saving money each month
walked 3 miles to post office instead of using car :T
Refilled soap dispensers and added water to bottle which had the re-fill in to use up the last bit that i couldn't get out otherwise :T
Sticking to 1 coffee a day - keeps cost of buying new coffee down as wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hello all!
Well with today off i was hoping to do a carboot yesterday. Early night saturday, up early sunday with packed lunch & flask at the ready  just as we set off the rain started we carried on as we were all ready to go & hoped it would be a quick shower. When we got to the carboot there were just a handful of cars with some packing up & leaving as the rain has just kept on coming. We didn't set up as didn't want to pay £15 for our pitch with so few buyers and the rain continuing. We had a walk round to have a look at the few stalls that were there & for £2.50 i got some perennials for the garden which should add some nice colouras well as getting some fancy soap - not really a need but it soap that is usually a lot more expensive & should last my Mr longer than the liquid stuff
So Sunday was not an NSD - i was most disappointed though and hope next sunday will be a good day - i don't have the monday off but i do have a car full of items and a desire to make some money
Came home and was very tired due to the extra early start. But as i was up i sorted out some more bits for the carbootas well as refilling the freezer and cleaning and organising the fridge - so still felt as though i had been a little bit productive :T
Also was quite money saving in a way as the roast i had planned to cook saturday hadn't defrosted which i only realised at tea time d'oh! - my fault i'd just popped it in the fridge the night before and meant to lift it out in the morning but forgot. So we ended up having a bit of a mix and match storecupboard meal and had the roast yesterdayThe meal i had planned for yesterday is still in the freezer so this is one way of making our food stretch i suppose :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Today i am still tired but want to have one last (for now!) sort through the wardrobe & see if there is anything else i can sell. As well as going through my jewellery (costume) and bags (mainly gifts so can't see me parting with them).
I am online just now though as a direct debit was due to be paid out on the 1st so i was expecting it to be showing as paid today then i could make an extra payment to my target card - annoyingly its not updated. I know i should be able to transfer the difference now anyway but as i had problems with a company continuing to take money from my account after i cancelled their service i just want to make sure they aren't taking money again this month - it was also due on the 1st! will check tomorrow i guess but i really wanted to make a paymentCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
