Hi All
I've put most of the things i'd sorted out onto the bay of e but due to the screen / comp? freezing / crashing it took alot longer than it should have done so now as productive a day as i would have hoped. Oh well!
I've sorted a few more items out to list as well and just hope everything runs more smoothly tomorrow  Still need to find alot more things to get to the full 100 target made of relists and newly listed things - will do my best though
Counted my coins ready for cashing so i can withdraw the notes - been saving for a specific day out :T
I'm aiming to clear the freezer down over the next month. I've meal planned for the week:
Sunday - Roast beef dinner
Monday - Chicken curry and rice
Tuesday - Lasagne
Wednesday - Salmon and mash
Thursday - Chicken wrapped in parma ham with salad
Friday - Quiche, new potatoes, salad
Saturday - Cottage pie
Sunday - Roast chicken dinner

£5 - took an item back which i was given and which wasn't suitable. changed for something that was so i think thats £5 well spent - rather than having something which would not be used
£2 - 2 pairs of long gloves - £1 each reduced from £12 and perfect for when i'm wearing my 3/4 length jumpers in winter- i *do* not like to be cold but have got a couple of gorgeous 3/4 sleeve tops which were gifts and are stunning but not much worn due to this

kinda think the £7 i spent was money saving as it means what i have will be used...

Hi Al,
good to hear all is good with you and yoursChocforever wrote: »You are doing well with your overpayments. There is only so much money to go around and you are diligent with budgeting and trying to bring in more income.
I'm still in the first year of my mortgage and a £1k overpayment saves nearly £1.5k in interest which seems astonishing when interest rates are low. It does focus my mind on paying it off as soon as possible. Well, that and finding out my projected pension is a pitiful amount.
Good luck with listing 100 items to sell. Where do you find all of these things?! I want to list a few items this weekend; I was thinking of about 4 things, mainly unwanted gifts. I should be more imaginative with finding things to sell.
Have a great weekend x
Thanks chocs - but i *need* to re-do my budget & i *need* to bring in more money - am currently exhausted but thinking i may need to start looking for a second job - i don't really want to as time at home is little enough as it is. On the other hand i need the money & who knows what opportunities could come up in another job..
My pension is also woefulpart of the reason i am overpaying the mortgage is that when won't have to pay for our home the money can be redirected to savings for retirement.
Aw chocs hows it gone with the listing? - i may just have more stuff than you? i used to collect things and after the big clear outs over the years i am now parting with a few bits i thought i'd always keep. I'm also actually listing stuff that i would *like* to keep - so am only listing at a price i'm happy with selling at.brizzledfw wrote: »That's a great stat jwil...and well done DDFW..de cluttering is such a powerful thing. Hi brizzle - how are you? and how are the kittens?and the family too of course
i would have decluttered more brizzle but on the joint items front my Mr is more attached to things than i thought - imagine it'll be stuff he's happy to let go in a year or so - i'd like it gone now though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi All
I woke up today with a terrible headache which has only just passedso again not as productive a day as i would have hoped. I've sorted a few more things to list on the bay of e and have been trying to get on with that but having problems getting the pictures to load on which is proving time consuming.
I've got the last load of washing on now so hoping that hurries up - it seems like i've not had a break all weekend.
I've also made packed lunches for us for the next 2 days and have lifted some meat out of the freezer ready to make more meals for wednesday and thursday
Whilst in the freezer i've written a list of the contents of 1 of the drawers. Quite a bit in this drawer is quick to warm up meals which is good but i want to focus on clearing out the meat in there - either by batch cooking or making for meals to eat - mainly as much of that meat is unlabelledMy aim is to clear freezer out and then start to refill with batch cooked meals and joints of meat etc. all labelled and listed as to which compartment they're in so the freezer will work better for us.
Hoping to find more bay of e stuff either today or tomorrow - not sure how much i've got towards the 100 target as there were some items which were already listed on there.

Hi all
very stressful day at work today and as a result i am not looking forward to tomorrow / the rest of the week ho hum!
Onto money matters and all things decluttering - i've managed to select a meagre 2 more items to leave the house - at this rate i won't hit the 100 i challenged myself to do but i've definitely got rid of alot more things after setting the challenge than otherwise so am pleased with that :T
Terrible headache again today as well which hasn't helped

£3 - on essential ingredients - i decided to start the batch cooking tomorrow :T was pleased with picking up just what i needed
Money Saving
found 5p
selected 2 items as mentioned for bay of e - will leave the house & make it easier here and hopefully bring in some pennies
finally paid in the little cheque i got the other week
completed surveys that i wasn't screened out of
walked to station
took packed lunch and snacks to work
posted item which was paid for - postage included in sales cost & as did at lunch no special trip out to post office in the car
ordered cheap phone cover for new phone - needed & much cheaper than in the shops :T just means i wait to get my phone
pre-booked tickets to even we go to as was cheaper to pay in advance :T
freezer all organized: - each drawer has separate purpose eg batch cooked, meats for batch cooking / bbq, lunch meals and all written out so i know whats where - so good to have this organized and feel its more manageable to get to things etc.
top to be returned so will get refund :T and will pay it off my target stooze card
It feels good to have put the balance down of my target card - i feel spurred on by seeing it in my sig & paid some bay of e money to it
I have also written out my budget - now need to trim it :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
