Got an interview :j :j :ja penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

Apple, are you kidding me?! You chat here loads, lol! And it's much appreciated
But likewise - I love reading your adventures even if I'm not always in a fit state to string a sentence together in reply... I've been so lurkerish lately... hopefully different working hours will see a change to thata penny picker upper. Weird old day, it started by chatting to nice people at work which made me think 'oh dear, why would I leave?' and ended with the troublemakers showing up which made me think 'flip you, I'm off!' Haha. So feeling a bit more gungho about the interview now. And I do need to think about my own financial future - these people wouldn't hang around for me. I'm too loyal for my own good.
Even if I don't get it - completely amazing to be asked and has definitely opened my mind to what may be possible in the future.
Hope I've lost lots of weight today - it was well over 30*c in the office, I mostly spent the day melting. Ooh, need to update the lose weight thread on here before 10pm... I'll be back...a penny picker upper. Back again. Silly body got such a shock at losing 2lb last week that it hasn't let go of any more yet.
Best get doing a few more of these :j :j :j
So back to today... spiced couscous, grilled veg and chicken from the freezer. Super quick easy meal, neither of us could be bothered to cook... or eat, really. Too hot.
Now binge watching daft TV shows (Once - fairytale fun), and looking forward to a more easygoing day tomorrow.
Haven't even had the chance to sort my payday monies yet. A job for tomorrow methinks.

Friday (oh heck, that's tomorrow) 10am! Going to have to start prepping later today. (INOD you might get a panic PM later, lol).
Thankfully I'm off today (waiting for a delivery, Mr M's bought himself an expensive-but-he-got-it-cheap combination microwave oven, just heard it's not coming til lunchtime so I can relax in my PJs for a bit, hurrah!) so I'll set aside time this afternoon from [STRIKE]watching the tennis[/STRIKE] cleaning the house to do that.
So glad it's cooler today, I didn't fancy staying inside a baking hot flat all day  but now it's shaping up to be a rather lovely daya penny picker upper. I confess, it was more of a slip thing. I wouldn't have bothered with anything but I did want to open the curtains so.... needs must. :rotfl:a penny picker upper. Loads of prep and a non-very-good portfolio thing rustled up. Head about to burst now, time for sleep, thank heavens.
House did get a little cleaner and I had a fantastic tea of baked potato, grated mozzarella dregs I'd stashed in the freezer and a coleslaw of red cabbage, carrot, spring onion and radishes. Fantastic. Must remember to smash a bowl in the fridge for snacks/insta-sandwich filling etc.
No time to check accounts... might do that before bed actually and sort spreadsheet tomorrow.a penny picker upper.
