And I'm off to pin more bunnies together (stars on 1 ear and stripes on the other - the fair's on the 4th July!) with tennis in the back ground xx
Glad you got a proper real bed last night - makes a huge difference!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Ooh, glad to hear you found some themed fabric! They will look amazing, such a clever idea!
Can't wait to go to bed again, lol, I plan a long lie in tomorrow!a penny picker upper. Popped into town with my ID for TSB account at lunch time, so that's all sorted now. :T
Productive day at work in that it was so quiet I could ponder my blog ideas, ha. I've realised I can set up a kind of 'magazine' look, which would be brilliant as I'm wanting to write articles on a few distinct topics so that keeps everything nice and tidy. Feels like it's coming together well, just need to crack on with it now!
Quite excited to have a project brewing. I was looking for something writery to sink my teeth into and get my mind whirring, yay for good ideas, lol.
OnePolled, worked, ate leftovers for tea... not much else to report...

Yesterday was very chilled out. Used JLvoucher for free tea & cake, but as I had Mr M with me I ended up buying another pot of tea for him... so a more expensive outing that I thought, grr.
Got sucked into their sale and bought an egg cup I had fallen in love with.Only £2.50 though, so I'll survive. It does make me deliriously happy though, and I managed not to buy the hilarious little butter dish that went with it, so gold star for good behaviour there I think.
Also picked up a few half price crafty bits for friends, so that's their Christmases completely sorted out very cheaply. :T
Returned some unused tights to M&S, got £8 back. :j
Can't remember the rest of the day, was a little out of sorts and spent it on the sofa watching the tellybox and reading the KonMari thread (sidetracked by that hoarding blog mentioned on there as well - so thought provoking).

Oh heck, I've seen and applied for an amazing job. It'd mean loads more money and to be doing something a lot more fun but what will be will be...
Made the most gorgeous gooseberry and rhubarb crumble crisp. Pretty much this recipe, though I used a couple of tablespoons of honey on top of the fruit (whacked in over 10-15 mins before crumble topping). I couldn't find my flaked almonds so I didn't bother with nuts & seeds and just upped the flour & oats to 100g each. Put a huge heaped teaspoon of ginger in the crumble mix and then ate with Greek yoghurt, amazing! Next time I'll try and remember to melt the butter with honey rather than putting sugar into the topping.
That was the highlight of the day yesterday, lol. Not much else to report of late. Did some surveys, spending diary sorted, went to work and earnt pennies.
Omg, payday tomorrow! Wheeeee!

Eep! They replied to me already... I'm in slight shock. Looks like I might be asked for an interview (need to phone them tomorrow as I missed their message earlier today)... how mad!
Nothing much else of note today, had to work late and have only just polished off tea (super quick pasanda). Shower and early bed methinks. Might even read my book (for once!). Trying not to daydream about what I'll do with all that extra cash.... (should I open that high interest lloyds account now? :rotfl:)
It's soooooo warm here! Love it. Though the smell of BBQs wafting through the window is making me feel rather peckish again.
