Madly sunny again and I was stuck inside all day, as I headed home the storm clouds swirled and unleashed the moment I stepped off the bus. Soaked in seconds, I powered past Bee & Em to get to Wilcos (bigger shop, prettier stuff
) to take shelter. I engaged Operation Take Photos of the "Oh My Word I Want That!" stuff, they will sit on my phone for me to look at for months, when I finally decide I can afford to pay the 80p for a frivolous folder/notebook/trinket tin then I'll go in and they'll no longer be in stock and I'll have won! Looking forward to it. :T :rotfl:
:www: MFW Wonderment: Continuing good work with taking lunches to work. Mr M came back from Marks with a bag full of reduced loaves & rolls, into the freezer they go and that'll keep a few posh teas & lunches going for a while yet.He also found a bunch of white roses :smileyhea for 75% off, the poor man couldn't resist a bargain like that :rotfl:

:heartsmil Burrow Building: nice chilled out evening which included gorgeous pulled brisket sarnies and potato salad. Had some chats about Plans of Action, there are quite a few options around (Mr M had another chat new job people today, the official stuff should kick into action at the end of the week, huzzah!)a penny picker upper. Very interesting! How come he's the last one? Don't they plan to do it any more?
Hopefully we'll see some trips up there again soon *cross fingers*

Lol MCI, it's very much life-telling-me-stop chillaxing, whether I can do it from pure free will is another matter :rotfl:a penny picker upper. Before we get to the waffle, important things first. Have you seen THIS? I may have watched it several times today already.
Not much to report really, spent another day or two pretty much conked out. A quick nip out to the shops for a Father's Day card this afternoon and had a lovely wander around the library, picked up several books that'll keep me going for a while.
No monies spent, but I need to buy some toiletries soon. My little piggybanking budget for that is looking healthy so I might do it soon and get it over and done with. Did some online research and have found some potential bulk buys on almond oil/essential oil type stuff, so that's handy.
Spreadsheet updating this morning, and accounts are all up to date. I'm seriously thinking of getting my Procure A Kitten spreadsheet going again. Not sure what funds to use for it. It doesn't have to be much since it's going to be an age before I can get a kittencat anyway but the amount of entertainment I'd get from the spreadsheet* seems worth diverting some monies from elsewhere for it. One to ponder.
*I call it a spreadsheet, it's a prettily coloured bar graph that gains asterisks every time I hit certain milestones (eg. £1.50 - I can buy a cat toy!), with nice pictures of kitties surrounding it. :rotfl:
A few more bath treats have been used up, and a bottle of wine - oh dear lord though, some friends were keeping (hostage) two crates of alcohol in their garage from last time we moved. We finally got it back, two years later (it had been trapped behind someone else's We're Moving And Need To Store Stuff stuff), and most of it had to be chucked.Note to self: drink things up.
:www: MFW Wonderment: £40 into the BTL fund, 20p into the kittybank. Quidco £70 due to pay out next week. :j Still doing well with cheap & cheerful meals.
:coffee: Simple Pleasures: candlelit baths, naps, finding lovely books from the library and reading them all afternoon (William Morris history), remembering that I have two rolls of Morris Co. wallpaper (honeysuckle) that I found in a charity shop for £1 each (usually £45!).

Yes, love it :T. Didn't manage to see it in Spain though - although the skies were clear my wine glass got in the way when I was supposed to be looking :rotfl:.Vala-Mal-Doran wrote: »Have just downloaded this app and excitedly waiting for it to load so I can see where it is!! Nice one :T. You can also sign up with NASA and one of the astronauts will email you when it is going to be visible. :j. Well, someone reckons it's an automated email from NASA but I like to think they've got a whiteboard up there with my email address and 'don't forget' beside it :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi P*M, glad you're good and getting those chillaxes in, even if it is of the collapse-in-a-heap kind!
Ta for the detailed explanation of the beer-battered sandwich ... I think I will be sending you some rocket seeds as a new home gift, so you can add a bit of greenery to those kind of urges!
Love the kitty spreadsheet idea ... and the dressage moggie, he's strutting all over Tumblr too!
Have you any details sorted out yet, either for Mr. P*M's proper start or proposed timeline for moving?
Hope you have an easy week. xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Loving the beer battered sandwich :T. I had a pastrami sandwich today - that would have been great done like that :j. As great a concept as deep fried pizza and of course the legendary battered Mars Bar
.
But as I am now on a diet I now think it is Devil's food .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
