Yay on new dress and phone! Shame you're going to the north-north west of big smoke - it's much cheaper on the south-south east end. But of course you have to consider where it's easiest to travel from.
The very best of luck and hope you enjoy it when you get here. Loads of lovely free things to do as you must have found out!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Oops, awol again. The days I'm working are so busy that I'm utterly spent when I get home. I'm trying to work at a more steady pace but it's hard not to go at 90mph and cram as much in as possible when I'm in the office.
I have a tendency to wear myself out doing too much and I just can't afford for that to happen again so I really need to work on pacing myself (and not working when I get home and am not being paid for it oh dear me! I don't mind doing a few odd things but it CANNOT turn into hours - I could be spending that time resting or working on other things to bring in extra income *slaps wrists*).
Been a little under the weather the last couple of days as well so am absolutely doing nothing today but resting, watching the tennis and doing some of my writing. Might do a little laundry but that's it.
Ooh, new phone arrives today as well, yay
3p into the kittybank!
I get paid weekly, so that's another £40 into the savings. :j
Clothes fund will still need a while before it's repopulated
Fun & Games fund is staring to look rather healthy, I might ponder what to do with this today.
Shall be back to reply properly asap, must get dressed before delivery guy arrives/find some breakfast. How I've not managed to do this in the two hours I've already been up is a mystery. :rotfl:a penny picker upper. OMG! Just checked the post and guess what!
Have been offered a pair of tickets to Wimbledon! :j On ladies final day(!) :j Alas not to see the ladies, but for Court 1... where all the action has already happenedBut we might get a doubles final for the trouble if we're very (read: extremely) lucky...?! Very tempted to go and make a day of it and then cross all my fingers & toes that we get one of the big finals.
£66 for the tickets isn't too bad, and isn't too much more compared to general admission charges. Would love to be just generally hanging around the place for a big final. How exciting
Suppose my fun & games money can go towards this. :rotfl:

How exciting! Lucky you. And I would say a very worthy use of your Fun & Games fund!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Wow! Wimbledon! Lucky lucky you!!
I was in a tennis club as a teenager and longed to go to Wimbledon. Now that it's just the other end of the tram line, I simply aint so bovvered! Or maybe I've got old and boring.
Whatever you do, have a FANTASTIC time there!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Try to take it easy m'dear, you have too much on for a crash and burn at the moment ... pacing as required, boring though it is (and trust me I do know how boring it is)

Great news about the Wimbledon tickets. I imagine there'll be a fantastic atmosphere there, so it'll be an exciting experience.Early retired - 18th December 2014
