Oooh I'm sending you a big excited hug ... I can just feel the much more relaxed vibe coming off your thread now and so happy you have treats and epic planning sessions to look forward to (I do some work for a client in London and rely on a few sites in relation to that, I'll find the links for you as they have info on plenty of free things to see and do to add to the spreadsheet)!
Well done on the CK dress, excellent MSE type treat! X
I do indeed feel much more chilled out these days - I don't think I realised how much of my life had been sucked into work-related nonsense and stress, to get my life back is just so wonderfula penny picker upper. Your phone sounds like mine - except mine only did calls if it was on speaker . Dh was most frustrated with it, but I was cheerily pottering along with it. So he found me an exact replacement (palm pre, so not many around) and after months of frustration, he got it unlocked and fully functioning. I now can make private calls without the world hearing both sides of the conversation (tho haven't made one yet - am well out of the habit), and the keyboard keys ALL work the first time you press them, and the 'send' button also works first time. I hadn't realised how much it was limping along! I'm only on payg. I'll use a tesc0 double credit thingy for a month, then work down my credit before topping up again. I'm certainly not a heavy user. Dh can't understand my attitude!!
Your day out sounds wonderful. Wishing you many more like that!
I tend not to use my phone much either, I had to have it switched off all day today as it changed networks, and to be honest, it was so nice knowing there wasn't any possibility of it ringing or buzzing.Might do it more often.
Though I must say... I'm now completely back in love with having a camera. I used to take loads of pics, in a sort of photo diary type way, and now I'm remembering how wonderful it was for me - it makes me slow down and take a closer look at the world and what I'm doing. So hurrah for that. :Ta penny picker upper. Thanks greent, apple muncher, Goldie and mouche (ooh, hope I've not missed anyone!)Shame you're going to the north-north west of big smoke - it's much cheaper on the south-south east end. But of course you have to consider where it's easiest to travel from.
I would love to be more south-wards though as I have some friends down that way - ah well, you never know, maybe next time.
The very best of luck and hope you enjoy it when you get here. Loads of lovely free things to do as you must have found out!I absolutely can't wait to get down there, I'm a culture vulture and love old cities, I'm so so glad I'm going to finally get to experience living there. It was always my plan to move down there at some point, but then got sidetracked when Mr M came along, funny how things work out.

Try to take it easy m'dear, you have too much on for a crash and burn at the moment ... pacing as required, boring though it is (and trust me I do know how boring it is
)
I don't think it helped that I had a bit of a oh-crikey-I-need-to-crack-open-the-cranberry-juice odd moment or two. Thankfully the water works are all back in working order now.

Okaaay! So, now you know the finer details of my awolness over the weekend :rotfl: I did however manage to move forward on some bits and bobs...
£11.66 (scarily Mr M guessed £11.62!) from the kittybank went into the coin machine on Saturday (at last!). :T Because I haven't been counting the kittybank properly I've added the whole amount to my sig as a treat. Will count properly henceforth.
I had such a lazy weekend that I finally had some time to kick MyFitnessPal back into action, two days of seeing the scary amount of trash I was eating prompted a big vat of soup to be cooked up today, so I'm feeling positively :A
Also finally got those currant buns & rock cakes done... not so angelic but small steps.
Ooh, new phone also acts as a pedometer which syncs with MyFP! Will wonders never cease?
Had a bit of an irritating email on Sunday night (Sunday night! Grr!) regarding one of my self-employment income streams. I was hoping to keep this going for a while yet but upon doing some sums I've realised it's probably not worth keeping it going for such a poor return (& added stress, urgh), so am planning to let that go at the end of June. It'll leave me a bit out of pocket but with the extra time I can easily find something to replace it. Thinking about it today I realise how relieved I feel that I'll be leaving it behind soon, so maybe the universe was just doing me a favour there.
Not much news otherwise, got another use out of the cinema card and we did well over the weekend with cheap & cheerful bacon sandwiches for tea & using up food cupboards bits.
Oh - finished up a lingering bottle of body lotion and bath salts and super cheap haircut scheduled in for Friday.

:lipsrseal:Well, if you have any more problems, I believe prune juice will help your bits and bobs move forward.

Good advice there for sorting out all of those personal plumbing issues! :rotfl:
