I totally agree with your 'amazing realisation'! I had a similar one and know that my chosen charity (Sally Army) will make more money than I ever could, plus the people who benefit from that money really need it. Whereas I don't! Simplifying life of 'stuff' is therapeutic, and I'm heartily grateful I have so much stuff to cull.

INOD, what a lovely way to apply that thinking, I hadn't even thought about extending it to volunteering but I've often thought the same about wanting to do more of that too and now I realise I do a lot of volunteering without realising it. :D

I could probably do more in future, I just need to get creative in how I can offer it, oooh! :j A big old lightbulb just went off! :D

Likewise! I think it fits in quite nicely with my 'letting go of poverty' thinking, I'm starting to see it all more as a kind of energy that's starting to circulate more freely - letting go of things that are stuck here re-energises them as they take on a new life and then opens up space to let new things come to me. That's how it feels anyway :)

I can't stop thinking about it, it was gorgeous! Definitely worth searching out again (soon) methinks ;)

My ears are totally muffled, meh! Were bad yesterday and then ridiculous today, olive oil drops are starting to do their work and the rest of the day will be all about olbas steams I think. :o

Spent more of yesterday watching storage hunter-esque programmes (strangely addictive), Mr M was off (the instigator in watching said programmes) but thankfully he's better now. Managed to pop out before tea and pick up a suit for him (flipping heck, suits come at eye watering prices do they not?) and did some vague housey bits ie. service wash on the washing machine.

Today I'll do worky bits on the computer until the buzzing gets too irritating and then I'll continue decluttering and tackling Laundry Mountain.

Nothing much else to report, have been researching costs of relocation (rent, travel etc), and making what preparations we can for moving. :D

.....Oooh! Postman has just arrived with baby Oleg! And he's definitely not got past toddlerhood, hurrah! :D

I sympathise with the ear thing - I'm on the olive oil and olbas at the moment as well.

It's certainly better than it was last week, but not perfect.

I'm going to keep on with it, at least for another week and see where I am - I don't really like going to the doctors, but I might need to get syringed in the end. I have a light hissing in my ear, which I can block out most of the time, but it can be a bit annoying

Glad to hear things are a bit better with you, Goldie. If it's making a difference then that's really encouraging, a few more doses should really help as it starts to loosen and clear.

I'm doing the olbas steam a few times a day & then after one steam once a day I pinch my nose and blow exhale with my mouth closed until my ears pop, that's helped quite a bit.

It's a right pain though, I've been really dizzy with it so all housework jobs that require bending over are off the cards (not the worst thing in the world, I guess!) :rotfl:

Congratulations on your new furry pet Pearla! And I am racing you for the OnePoll payout - just 10p left to hit my second payout.

Sorry to hear about the ear problem - my own ears are popping alarmingly these days so I might have to follow in your footsteps very soon.

10p left, mouche, you lucky thing! I think you'll win the race, I'm still over £1 away. It's all seemed to come round quickly though, or has loads of time passed and I've just not realised it?

There must be something in the air with the ear popping, loads of people I've talked to have had odd things going on. Thankfully mine are fine again today, might do one last olbas steam to make sure they're absolutely sorted.

INOD, great idea on the second pair of trousers! :money:
