Afternoon, it's sunny, sunny, sunny here! :j
Meeting this morning went as well as it could I reckon, but won't hear more until the end of next week by the sounds of things.
Yesterday was all garden centres and farm shops. Picked up a big tray of various herbs/plants for a tenner (mint, thyme, sage, pineapple sage, golden marjoram, lavender and alpine strawberry* - so lots to use in various culinary guises) and some meat (another tenner) for this weeks dinners (though I daresay some of the sausages will end up in the freezer for meals at a later date).
* Mr M was desperate for this, lol, bless his little cotton socklets.
Stir fry for tea tonight, must remember to put aside some of the cooked chicken for sandwiches tomorrow.
Planned to get planting done today but between waking up all night and all manner of things filling up the rest of the day I might save that for tomorrow (or maybe this evening... I think a nap might be on the cards now)

Nap did the trick, though it did take me a very long time to come to the realisation that it wasn't actually Friday.
Onwards and upwards, Tuesday tomorrow. _pale_
No planting done, too knackered. Shall try to get on with it tomorrow.

Mixed bag in the old catch up there P*M, sorry last week's efforts didn't bring the result you hoped for but let's hope yesterday's will be the better opportunity and it'll land in your lap with a phone call any moment soon! Do you know when they're letting people know? For what it's worth, it's still worth continuing with the self employed venture planning aspects too, without waiting for other things to happen, you can end up with some surprise opportunities that way too!
:T excellent decluttering, it's good for the soul, not just space to live but also space to think and breathe sometimes I think!. Concoction you two ... three c s is a surprisingly rare occurrence, no? Did ya see what I did there?
Fingers crossed for good news for you and Mr M soon P*M xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Will hear at the end of next week, apparently. Which will be interesting, considering the news coming in my next post....
Ooh yes, self-employed antics are still continuing apace! Will be tying up some loose ends over the next couple of weeks and transforming some other areas into (with any luck) more steady income streams, can't wait reallyConcoction you two ... three c s is a surprisingly rare occurrence, no? Mr Merle has an interview! :j In a couple of weeks time. Exciting times
I woke up with a horrendous migraine, lost half the day as had to return to bed but woke up to a message from him letting me know the above and that seemed to help send it on its way.
A rather bizarre rest of the day as I had to have the curtains closed for ages until my head settled down, but in the midst of pottering about I found a seam of bags & random makeup bits that I'd unceremoniously shoved in the wardrobe. Have selected 4 small dressy/shoulder bags for eBay/charity shop and chucked out most of the makeup (it was mostly daft rainbow colours from various Halloweens and so forth). I'll probably donate the makeup bag as well. Think I've found a cushion and a tea cosy that might be up for the cull as well.
Then it was all change as I sat outside for a bit (ridiculously warm and sunny today!) and before I knew it I'd managed to make a start on the gardening. Most of the herbs from the weekend are now potted up, a few more seeds planted and other pots empited and ready to be put back into use. Just need some more compost.
So looking forward to using the pineapple sage in salads. It's one of my favourites. :smileyhea Probably because it's so ridiculous. :rotfl:
Huge lasagne bulked out with grated carrot for tea. A portion went into the freezer, must remember to eat it soon, think I have quite a few lasagnes in there now, oops.
No other uber exciting MFW news as I've not been able to use the computer much, just a few 1Poll pennies added to the pot.
Simple Pleasure/Burrow Building is combined today - we went for a walk along the river at sunset. Canal boats aplenty, it was lovelya penny picker upper. Sorry to hear about the migraine, they can be so debilitating. I hope the interview goes well
Sounds like a good time was had in the garden and I can imagine that made you feel masses better. I always feel rejuvenated after time in the sun and the garden.

Honoured to offer my acceptance of your fellowship invitation. A cappuccino would be lovely, ta so long as it's no trouble, I know you're busy, wouldn't want you to spent hours concocting it when you have better things to do! :rotfl:
Hope your head's calmer today, have a good one xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

:rotfl: You know I can't help but concoct.
Head fees fine today, practically skipped out of bed and said hello to my little garden - you are so right Tilly, being surrounded by greenery is incredibly healing.
IWAB, my plan of action for the summer is to spend most of my free time in such pursuits, can't waitAnother sunny day here today as well, think I might take a short walk out at lunchtime to go and see the ducklings :j
