Great to hear from you - long time lurker :rotfl:
Whatever you did at half term you are in a much better place than October 2014 by all your hard work and prolonged efforts. Everyone has to have a breather at some time and usually then get re-engaged with the task in hand!
Keep going, you're doing so well :T:T0 -
Just me checking in again
Am sure you can't have fallen off the wagon that badly

Hi Steph,
Hope all is well with you. It's so hard to resist spending during school holidays. I spend more too. Just pick yourself back up tomorrow. New day, new start.

Hi all
Been avoiding posting as fell off the wagon in spectacular fashion over the half term.
I have learnt that I am not to be trusted doing balance transfers. Just in time for our London trip a new credit card destined for a balance transfer arrived on my door mat :eek:
I fell off to the tunes of nearly £1000
Feel really carp about myself now, so have decided there is not much I can do about it in the last few months of this year as I always have a lot of expenses as its Dd's birthday in December and of course the dreaded Christmas which I pathologically am NEVER prepared for.
The card is in pieces in the bin and January onwards I will knuckle down and kill the last of this debt off.
I REALLY thought I was stronger than that and it would never happen. I really feel like a recovering alcoholic that had a drink put in front of me and I couldn't resist.
I now know that I am at heart terrible with money and it takes all my willpower to not go mental with what little bit of money I have.
So ashamed. Don't hate me0
