Morning,
Thanks EE, we ended up with a cobbled together lasagne and cheesy potato skins. Boys moaned a little but were soon happy when the homemade chocolate cake came out and popcorn for later.
I made a waffle mixture this morning so all happy with the waffles and last scrapings of golden syrup.
Slightly nervous about lunch as have no cheese or ham. I do have bread, eggs, beans and tomato soup so they will just have to choose out of those.
I just cant afford to go to the local little supermarket so its almost a good feeling to HAVE to make do. I should do this more often rather than nipping off to the shop which always costs me about £20, even if I only go for a loaf of bread.
Desperately need to wash the car today, hubby has gone to a pre arranged, prepaid for golf meet up with friends and he said to leave it till he got back later and he would help. So think I might try sowing some more seeds. I want to make sure I don't fall behind with my sowing times.
Not much else on today, will go and lift out some meat for dinner later.
Enjoy your Sunday x0 -
Beans on toast, or scrambled egg on toast or soup? Sounds like a good choice of lunch to me
I always have a handy supply of fish fingers in the freezer to make fish finger sandwiches too
Hope the rest of your day is lovely. We're headed to toys r us when it opens so that DD and DS can spend the birthday vouchers they got from Nanny and Grandad. Hopefully they will be busy playing all afternoon so we can get some peace and I can clean the kitchen - it's been neglected for the last week with the excitement of birthdays! I'm actually looking forward to DD going back to school so I'll get a chance to clean and tidy while DS is asleep! I hate to think what the house will look like after the Summer holidaysDS will most likely be walking by then too so I won't get a moment's peace! eek!!
Happy seed sowingxx

Hi Lhead,
Hope you get on ok at Toys r us. We went there last year with the children and it is the first time they had ever been to a big toy superstore. It took us AGES to get round because they were so overwhelmed by all the choices. The trolley filled and emptied with all the constant change of their minds haha.
With it being local to you I am sure yours have been there lots of times before.
Hope it gives you a good few hours peace later to get that lovely kitchen Konmari'd again. I think that Japanese lady would have a heart attack if she saw my kitchen at the moment. Last week was super busy and I didn't get enough time to stay on top of my household jobs. Next week I plan to get back on track.
Enjoy the sunshine, even though the wind is abit chilly. xxxx0 -
Afternoon Steph,
I agree with you, we should make do more with what we have in rather than dashing off to the shops and spending more than we should!! Hope lunch was a success too!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello Diary,
Thanks for your post MTG, yes all went well and they all got fed. Its amazing what you find in the back of the cupboards when you have to.
Feeling pretty crappy recently. Feeling all anxious and in turmoil again and I know that Aunt flo who is due end of next week could be the cause of it, but I really hate these feelings. Not sure if the Agnus Castus is still working, or if its just really bad and not solving all the issues.
I get the urge to just cut myself off from everyone, I just want to be left alone to potter in the garden and sort the house out and not be pestered by anyone.
Think I am just wanting a quiet life but life just isn't like that.
I need to give myself a kick up the bum and be grateful for everything I have and realise that there is nothing to be miserable about. Yes I am in debt but that's half of what it used to be and not the end of the world.
It does feel like an endless hamster wheel of bills to pay but 90% of the population probably feels exactly the same.
Eugh I will go away and come back when I am feeling in a better frame of mind. Don't want to be spreading my doom and gloom on here, you guys have enough to deal with.
Speak soon xxx0 -
Hi Steph you are entitled to feel down from time to time. It is not a nice feeling.
You have achieved so much and will achieve so much more.
When we feel that so many people rely on us it seems to put so much pressure upon our shoulders.
You are an inspiration to many people on here. In real life I am sure that you inspire those you come into contact with.
This is probably just another little blip, sent to try you, but you are a much stronger person than to crumble.
Keep going and take care of yourself. X0 -
