Sounds like the tanker put the wrong fuel in the tanks at the filling station doesn't it. Is his car working again now?

That's exactly what we're thinking. Just our luck it's the one time he fully fills up with it being payday, £70 down the drain! Hope he gives them hell at some point today, but I just don't think there's anything that can be done. His car is okay, got home safely after the fuel switch. He just has to run it above half a tank for a while to be safe.
I bought it in bulk from Marco, and it has a foil seal I get to peel off. Oooooh, my life is a wonderlandSeriously though, new products kill me but new products in bulk leave me stone cold on the floor in 0.0034 seconds.

Ooooh new detergent! :j
Can't believe what happened to your OH, poor lad! Very lucky that he's got roadside recovery... I'd be complaining big time about the petrol/diesel mix up with the garage as it definitely sounds like there's been a mix up!
Glad everything is feeling good at the new house! Lets hope lots of lovely things happen there.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Happy Friday
Can't believe it's Friday again. We'll have been in the house a week tomorrow, that's just gone so quickly!
Had a lovely surprise yesterday, a lady at work bought me a little hyacinth pot for our kitchen. So my task is to not kill it. Day 1 and things are looking okay
Paid the credit card off this morning, so once that's cleared and my balance is £0 I'll call up to cancel it. OH uses it a lot for work for his expenses but we're building up a £200 pot for things like that this month. Started it with a small £30 this morning!
Also taken £50 out the bank to put to one side for repaying my Grandparents, £21.08 to round my account down for paying off the other debts which leaves me with £100 in the bank and £20 in my purse for my £20 a week challenge
Started back up on swagbucks yesterday, so things are back to ticking over steadilyWe'll see what happens!

Happy Monday!
Weekend went really quickly, but we were busy with plans each day so go figure I suppose. Plus we had my parents over for tea on Saturday, and then OHs family for a roast yesterday. So much fullness! Always lovely seeing OH's family as we don't get together very often. Not compared to my family anyways.
Also on the money front, we sold our old coffee table for £50 (been promised £60 if it looks good in their front room) Cashed out on Qmee (only £1.07) and I'm half way to a voucher I can send to my Sister on Swagbucks. Sending her the first one, then I'll be working towards ££ vouchers
Had to buy something through my ebay account for OH as he doesn't have a paypal account so rounded it to £10 paying £2.01 off of the smaller debt. He did buy some groceries over the weekend which is meant to be my bag so we can call it quits!
Off to the cinema tonight! Free tickets, free tea with vouchers and I need to pick OH some hair putty but I can use our boots points for that. Hoping for a totally free night, with a bit of money to be made if I can get some missions done while I'm out
Decided to streamline the money earning sites, I was signing up to too many and I couldn't keep track of them. So I've decided to focus on things that look like high payers - swagbucks, iPoll and feature points. With Qmee on my computer at work for a couple extra pounds a month. Hopefully they'll tick over so I can feel productive inbetween paydays!0 -
Hi,
Only just realized you have your own thread!
Glad the new house is going good.
I have streamlined the survey sites i do to the ones that seem to be better as otherwise it feels like you are wasting your time. Still need to properly look at the ones you sent me.0 -
Yes I have done that recently too. It's so tempting to sign up to loads but most of them take ages to pay out and it is a lot of work for not much money.

New thread for the new year, Wendz
Thanks for commenting!!
And that's just the problem. You get all seduced by how much you could make, but then you only make small movements by using them periodically as you get bored and move on.
Had a great time last night. Spent £3 as I caught the big boxes of Wonka Nerds in £1land and I have a problem. Everything else totally night, used my vouchers for tea (bought my Mums too) and picked up a new foundation on our boots points. Also got OH's hair putty, it was on offer 2 for £5 (normally £4) so stocked up a little on those.
Home alone tonight! So planning to have left overs for my tea, my Grandparents are coming to look at the place later on in the afternoon too so it's going to be operation show home when I get off work! If my OH thinks his Mum gets the royal treatment he's got no idea how hardcore I go on the cleaning when my Grandparents are due a visit
The credit card has also been CANCELLED, CUT UP AND SHREDDED! FREEEEDOM :T:T:T0 -
Woohoo about the credit card!
My OH always jokes I only clean when we have visitors so he is always saying i should invite people round more often!0 -
