    It's payday!!

    Finally :)

    Had some extra money come in this week in the form of my monthly reward bonus, so after this weeks bills I have £134.59 remaining. I TT'd the £4.59 into the savings for my new phone, and knocked £120 off of my sig. Leaving my debt at £430 exactly :j

    As for the week, I have £20 in my purse for top up shops. We do desperately need veggies, so I'll swing by Co-Op on the way home. They normally reduce veggies around the time I'm on my way home from my Grandparents so I tend to stock up, prep and freeze into portions for the week.

    OH's payday today too, he sends me his share of the bills as it all comes from my bank. So I'm looking forward to things looking a bit healthier in that sense!

    Busy weekend, for a change. OH wants to go out tomorrow into town to smell the new Brave fragrance (not even kidding, this is the basis of our mission) then we're out in the evening for a meal with my family. Sunday I'm being taken to some wool..convention?! I really want to say convention but I might be wrong, I'm probably wrong.

    Started watching Lost last night, courtesy of Sky, and this morning there were actually several movies with their on demand service that I want to watch. What is happening! We really were on the verge of cancelling it, but it seems like they're upping their game.

    Also, in terms of feeling like I'm doing something when I'm not, I signed up to the Experian free trail. Just to make sure nothing was going on behind the scenes, and nothing is (knew I wasn't that interesting) Called up and cancelled it this morning to save the charge.

    Last thing for the post! We'll be getting a free tumble dryer, OH's Mum has said we can have her old one so that's pretty sweet. We were thinking of getting one this Winter so that's one less thing to think of!

    Pretty exciting news.... I'M DEBT FREE!! :j:j:j:j:j

    OH had a bit more money this month than expected, so sent me the remaining money to repay my Grandparents. Leaving my money owed to anyone ever at a grand total of... £0!

    Will be setting up a savings diary on another part of the forum tomorrow, so I'll come back here to post a link when I have :)

    And in a totally MSE way, I celebrated by going and buying the £3 pulled pork joint OH has been hankered over for the last few weeks but I didn't think was meal-planning/budget friendly! :o

    Still doesn't feel real, and probably won't until this weeks payday when my only expense will be rent :A Can't wait to start saving! I still need to keep myself on track and on budget, hence the savers diary :) Just need to figure out where to start it..
  • WOOHOO - well done you :beer::j:beer::j:beer::j

    Must be such a great feeling to know that your money is your money now.

    Please post a link to your savings diary so I can keep [STRIKE]stalking [/STRIKE] following your antics.
