Just catching up after my fortnight off. Hope she is fully recovered now and you're enjoying her. Looking forward to any updates x
Thanks DF - yes she is fine - managed to get 3rd place in our ODE so well chuffed with her0 -
I want to try and save some money just to finish off 2014 and so have put £500 down a month as 'debt' which is what I was paying off on the debt. However its probably a bit unrealistic as its OH birthday next month and I would like to get him a nice present as he has spoilt me so much over the past few years. He has his eye on a nice camera so I may get him that.
Also we have booked a holiday for next year - I am paying the deposit and he is paying the balance next year - sounds a fair deal to me lol :rotfl:
Have started thinking towards xmas - dont want to go mad as I never do but have started getting amazon vouchers on swags and surveys - it was quite fun the other day shopping on amazon and putting items on my wishlist for the few people I do buy for. I may end up changing my mind but it might save a last minute rush and not being able to think what on earth to buy.
My sainsburys points are up to £36 pounds which will help the food bill - actually and some bits and bobs - we dont go mad as there is usually only 4 of us. We go to OH family in evening and eat all the left overs there lol - always far too much food.0 -
Good luck with the plans, slightly stressful but also strange worrying about savings once you're debt free isn't it

It is a strange feeling! Not sure I like the responsibility lol. I have spent the last 3 and half years scraping and saving every penny towards debt - I am not sure I know how to handle money that is now mine
I know that sounds bizarre but I am so scared I will end up in the same boat again. I would like to think not and that I have learned my lesson but it is scary. x

I know exactly how you feel LAM! I'm not out of debt yet but with only 6 months to go I'm starting to worry that everything will spiral out of control once I'm debt free. My life paying it off has been very much planned and in order. Now hubby is telling me we can spend money on this that and everything next year. He's getting carried away and I'm panicking about being out of debt instead of looking forward to it! :mad:LBM 01/03/12 Debt £[STRIKE]27924[/STRIKE]

It sounds to me like it's quite common to worry about ending up back in debt and IMHO that is probably the best way to ensure we don't.
