I am the same LAM - but we can't put (well we could but it I don't think we should) our lives on hold whilst we clear the evil debts. I have my 2 which, altho cost me a fortune in livery and other things, I wouldn't be without. You have to live and enjoy it otherwise it's simply not worthwhile.

Have a fab weekend and hope it's not a wash out judging for you.
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683

I agree that it's important to still have a life.

The trick with surveys is to do them as quickly as you can after you get the notification. If you save them all up for a few days you'll likely get screened out of them all. It's better to spend a little time each day if you can, it doesn't stop the screening out, but does reduce it a lot.

I have put my life on hold for the past 2 years as I was so desperate to get rid of the debt but now I can see the end I have eased off a bit. Fence judging was fun and so interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes.

Good weekend and am off tomorrow :D

Have sold some unwanted horsey stuff at a horsey car boot thingy - added some of my money that is left over for the month (pay day this week) and have overpaid another £100.

Going to put the rest of the stuff on ebay tomorrow and tidy up cupboards.

So loan balance now £2,000. With my overtime, ebay and another tight month budgeting for Aug - am hoping to overpay £500 before end of July.

Pay day - yay! So with a bit of spread sheet jigging and assuming my ebay items sell at the existing bids I have managed to overpay another £500 so now owing £1,500! It seems unbelievable really - I keep opening my spreadsheet to have another look.

Need to be careful this next 4 weeks till next payday and hopefully can make further small overpayments. My DD comes out on 1st and incomings are a) cashed in £5 from My Survey b) owed £75 for part time work carried out c) been offered some overtime for next week. Not forgetting I am owed for my expenses and my usual £5 from my bank :)

Thank you - does feel really strange.

Swagbucks has been a bit slow to be honest - just been too busy - I have only done £10 in July. My Survey is just surveys and they drive me mad sometimes. I try sit on a Sat and do them but if they are already 'old' I get bombed out so again slow to cash in. I got cross with them and left it for a for a while so have only done £8 this month lol. BUT, every little helps so if I can fit them in I do.

Thank you - you look like you have already made a huge dent in the debt! It is a hard journey but when you start to reach milestones like under £20k, under £15k, under £10k ..... it starts to feel that slowly but surely you will get there. Good luck on reaching your DFD.

So yesterday I helped a friend who works for a big company having a trade stand at a fair. I thought I was just volunteering and then at the end of the day we were given an envelope of vouchers :)

Mentioned it today at work and colleagues have bought the vouchers off me to use at presents - I suppose I could have done the same thing but its £60 now to pay off the loan - yay!!

Another 'meaty' item on ebay and at this rate am hoping to be DF in September :j:j
