I too have no explanation for much of my debt. I did buy half my kitchen but that's tiny compared to what I owe - it now feels like it was from a previous life, but it's hung round my neck in this life time. I know it'll go one day - you're living proof of that :) Inspirational.

I do like the idea of a horse lorry :) but I wouldn't rush out and get one either. I wonder how it'll feel when your next months money is yours, once you're DF.....can't wait to hear! xx
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
    Total £8601 Was £39302

    Today I am Debt Free!!!

I have just phoned and settled my loan - there was a balance of £270 and it is gone!!!

Its a strange feeling and I don't think I feel any different at the moment which is good as I want to stay on the diaries and remain DF. It has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster - the highs being great when I could overpay and lows being awful when I felt I had no money only debt and things would crop up that I had no money for.

I think the true feeling of being DF will hit home when next months direct debit doesn't come out the bank and I can start a savings fund!

  • Isn't it funny how you can be so happy for folks and how much inspiration you can draw from people you only know online and are unlikely to ever meet in real life? I am as pleased for you as I would be any of my RL muckers. Fabulous x
