Sorry for all the posts for some reason my return bar is not working and when it does it closes the post
Just wanted to say very impressed by your lists and goals. I too want to lose a stone (perhaps more when I finally get to stand on the scale tomorrow) so perhaps we can inspire each other? 0 -

I did wonder why I had multiple replies from you lol :rotfl:that's ok though, makes me look more popular and interesting!
I also have more than 1 stone to lose, but I don't want to scare myself by aiming too high too soon! I need to get back on the scales, but am a bit scared at the moment! Definitely up for doing the diet malarkey with some company! Count me in

Seems to be working again now silly thing

I am going to weigh tomorrow but I am sure a stone will be a good starting point for me. Just need to decide what and how to do it. I am a comfort and boredom eater, don't really like fruit or salad lol so am using a notebook to plan and keep track of whatever 'healthy food plan' I decide to follow

We are very similar, I'm also a boredom and comfort eater. I don't mind fruit, but I never pick it over chocolate or crisps. And I'm a bit fussy, it has to be "just right", else I take a bite and go "yuk!", mealy apples anyone?
My other main sticking points are too much snacking, and probably my biggest problem- portion control. My portions are waaaay too big.
I have a very active job, I usually manage the gym at least once a week, and I don't drink alcohol or fizzy drinks. So yeah, portions are the biggest reason why I'm overweight.
So improving my diet should save me £££'s in my food budget, from having smaller portions! I will find my scales and tape measure and weigh myself in the morning.
I think I have MyFitnessPal app still on my phone, which is great for counting the calories in what I'm eating, and giving a portion size, so will reactivate that as well. Recommend it if you have a smartphone, it's free!

Yeah I have fitness pal but on laptop - have just signed in and see that I have gone way over my original weight on there lol!
I am similar but not lol - I also like wine, lager and all snacky food like crisps, nuts etc
:D My job is sitting at desk all day which I usually compensate for by riding but as both horses have been out of action I think I had better do something quick or they are going to fall over next time I get on
My problem is I have loads of chocolate and wine left over from xmas so should I binge over the weekend or save as treats for targeted weight loss :rotfl:0 -

Im in exactly the same position, and dithering over the same dilemma, or at least I will be once I feel up to eating again
My jeans are so tight atm, even having not eaten much for 48 hours, so it's not looking good for my starting weight tomorrow!
Joined nectaradpoints today, to boost nectar points for Christmas next year. Seems simple enough, and is something I can do for 10-15 mins a day and watch my nectar points grow.
OH has been a superstar again today and fixed the oven door, so we don't need to buy a new one :j also sorted out some bits and bobs to sell on ebay. All systems go here, determined to slash my debts this year!
DF2014- the more the merrier! We can lose lbs and gain £££'s! :cool:0 -
Oooh, looking into claiming for a Uniform Tax rebate for the last 4 years. I work in a hospital and have to clean my own uniform at home. Worth the cost of a stamp and writing a letter!
If I get anything back then thank you MSE!!!:money:
Have also applied to sell my old phone to O2 recycle, for £21 in Amazon vouchers, which will come in handy for birthday presents over the year (and maybe treat myself to a sneaky kindle book shhh)....0
