Jet2 are not cheap and their customer service is terrible. Much prefer Ryan air and easy jet, cheap and had no issues.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
  • I think it is fascinating how sheeple congregate on threads like this to shout "I'm Alright Jack!" and "Don't Talk Rubbish You 0.01% marked for Fools" and "If You Feel Strongly Enough Why Don't You Take It To Court And Test Your Idea?" or "The structure of your assertion could have been better worded if you wished to avoid ridicule"

I don't think sheeple like that can ever be bothered to use their lives to make an improvement in society. I just wonder in fact if they live by any principles other than me me me.

So a black sheep states a contrary position and gets the sheeple all of a tizz.

The tizz is pathetic to witness.

I've been challenged more than once "so why don't you test it in court?"
Some of them have been quite surprised what happened next.

Some of us do our bit.

What do you the rest of you do ? Are you them or us ? This is a consumer interests website. "I'm alright Jack" is simply not an ok mantra to spout on MSE unless it is coupled with "and I can see everyone else is too and no-one is adversely affected".

So everyone has to agree with you or we're all 'sheeple'!!

Sorry but I don't buy that. Surely if everyone agreed with you then that would be sheepish because we'd all be doing the same thing. I don't think you've thought your insults through to be honest!

Last year (I think) my mam and dad were going on holiday, flying with Ryanair. Dad went to print out his boarding passes as soon as he could but there was an error with the website. Tried on my comp for him and got the same error, and also tried on various others, with no joy. A quick google showed that other people had the same problem, going back some time too.

In the end he printed out the page with the error on and took that. They tried to get him to pay for the boarding passes but in the end they gave in as he had a list of the dates and times when he tried to print them and also a list of the phone calls he made to try and resolve the problem.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I dont understand why all these people are jumping to the defence of that offensive, arrogant company.

Because those who read the T&Cs and use Ryanair as it should be used normally save money. Before retiring, my company always used the cheapest and invariably that was Ryanair. They simply added up all the extras for the total price and then chose the airline and frankly it was quite simple to do.
    It's someone else's fault.

The problem is that until you have run through all the pages to get to the final page you have no idea who much it will cost depending on what card you use.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.

I always found them quite consistent.
charges for the extra always the same. so once you have booked once they did not change.

Yes but I do not book with them regularly so have no idea of these extra charges until the last page. If you book with them regularly then you know what these charges are.

Since there is no additional charge for paying with a debit card, and only a 2% surcharge if you pay by a credit card, it is hard to see why this would have any impact on whether you booked a flight or not.

Sounds pretty much in line what other airlines charge for the various types of cards.

At which point you can shut down the browser and choose to book somewhere else, should you wish to do so. No one forces you to make the booking.
