Bit late in the year for me to join, but will definitely be signing up for 2015. I've more or less read through all 90 pages over the last couple of days and been throughly motivated and inspired. Good job, people have done so well.
  • I am turning my thoughts to 2015 too. I will defo be joining this challenge again. My goal will be less than previous years as I finish up my teaching job at Chrsitmas due to stress and I will be moving towards either self-employment or a part time job.

    Hello fellow savers! :D
Apologies for being so rubbish at updating my progress on here this year!
I update my signature but have been seriously slacking with filling in the spreadsheet!
My total for 2014 so far is £22,000! Can't quite believe it! Looks like I'm going to beat my 2013 savings by almost 10k!
Won't be long, and we'll all be getting ready for saving 12k in 2015! Where does time go!!
Keep up the hard work everyone, love reading all your updates as always! :D

Subscribed to this thread. Plan on doing it in 2015 as it's a little late for 2014 now.

Brilliant news:T:T. Thanks you so much SF fo running the thread.
  • Sorry, I have been rubbish at keeping the spreadsheet updated - I had an "interesting" summer, as my OH graduated (with first class honours) but couldn't/didn't find a job for over 5 months (and didn't sign up for unemployment either!) so we both lived off my student loan/grant and my summer job. He's temping at the moment, which isn't ideal but it's something.
Anyway, I did hit the 4k goal I'd set for myself, so that's good news :) I hope I won't have to dip into my savings next year and keep adding to them instead!

Well done everyone on reaching the 1 million mark and thank you SF for running this thread!
