letter from a 2nd debt collector following parking ticket from Euro Car Parks Ltd

I wrote on here over a month ago about recieving a second letter from Debt Recovery Plus who said they were collecting the fee of a parking charge on behalf of Euro Car Parks Ltd. Some good people on here advised me not to pay this and to wait for a legal letter. Which is what I have done however today I have recieved a letter from a second debt collections company called Zenith Collections basically telling me that they are now responsible for collecting the debt of £150 for the parking charge but they are reducing it to £75 as a discounted rate to try and avoid the possible necessity and expense of legal action.
Should I just ignore this and wait to see if they take legal action?
Is this usual for a second collection company to get involved?

any advise is appreciated

Just keep the letter, that will prove beyond any doubt that it is a penalty.

You do know of course that DRP+ and Zenith are one of the same, which you can confirm if you read the small writing at the bottom of the letter!

Even though your PPC is different from those links, the links shown to the debt collector letters are the same. And neither UKPC nor Euro Car Parks 'do' court. Here's yet another current pointless thread about DRP and Zenith:

Rather than post every time a new standard template threatogram letter arrives - that you should have been expecting by now - why don't each of you just compare notes and compare your letters to those already shown in the 'PPC letter chains' sticky thread?

No need for any update anywhere, seeing as I had already told this poster about Zenith on that original thread...and it's on every tenth thread or so every day...and in the PPC letter chains sticky. Really not sure what else people want us to say about these letters. There's nothing that hasn't already been said EVERY DAY. These letters have been ignored for years anyway, and it's clear that these posters should all be complaining to the respective retail managers.
